"Forget about winning and losing; forget about pride and pain. Let your opponent graze your skin and you smash into his flesh; let him smash into your flesh and you fracture his bones; let him fracture your bones and you take his life. Do not be concerned with escaping safely - lay your life before him." - Bruce Lee
He's got a good chin, and yeah...he is great at absorbing punches. However, he hasn't had to take many since the De la Hoya bout. Hatton caught him clean once and Pacquiao shook it off. Cotto caught him clean only a couple times (he was caught more on the ears and around the guard than he was on the chin), I think Cotto did hurt him, but again he shook it off. Clottey probably caught him clean more than Hatton and Cotto combined...his straight right could not miss, however, Clottey put nothing into those punches when he threw them.
He did wind up on the shot, especially the second shot...and thats why he lost the bout there after because he tried to wind up on the same shot everytime.
Wear and tear will eventually catch up with him. I think the reason why he's chin is getting better every fight is because he gets hit(willingly or unintentionally) a lot during sparring sessions.
Penalosa and Pac can take a punch. Pac is not weight drained like he is @ 130 and below it is Y he is stronger.
If you closely watch pacquiao in his last 4 fights the most punishment he took was against clottey and even that was minimal... and look at the damage on his face after that fight.. I disagree with you
gotta disagree with you cuz Roy Jones is a perfect example, he had a great chin until he came down from heavyweight and now its dissapeared. And i dont forsee Pacquiao jumping to super middleweight and comin back down:bbb:hi:
Pac has been in more wars and his career or at least prime will be shorter than floyds due to styles , perhaps mayweather is holding out for what will be a 2nd year in the hope the time becomes right what a a coward !!
