Manny Pacquaio - Absorbing punches

Well...Cotto got to finish 9 rounds with that nasty ass cut.

Here's the thing though: The fights I mentioned where Manny had bad cuts (Morales, Marquez 1/2) were caused by headbutts. I can't think of when Manny had a nasty cut that was from punch accumulation. So unless he gets a nasty headbutt from Floyd, which i don't see happening because I don't think Floyd would be willing to trade with Manny, it may not be so bad. Smaller cuts, maybe. There was a decent mouse on Manny in both Cotto and Clottey fights.

 

What the ****? Cotto is not a hard puncher? Who the **** is, then?

He can take punches up to 140 thats for sure, above 140 he took Cotto's punches but what about De La Hoya's or Clottey's? Its not known cus they didnt throw any, not because they couldnt but because Pacquiao is making to much money.

 

I don't know man. In a fight of this magnitude the refs and doctors are more likley to let it continue despite some bad cuts.

 

This is a good point. emmanuel has been cut in the past. Floyd opened up a cut at will over Hatton's left eye with a 4 slashing punches combo: right hand, left hook, right hand, and right hand. It will be a long night for manny if the blood drips into one of his eyes, and he can't see punches coming from one side.

 

Someone who dont knw jack**** bout boxing......especially the WW division
