Ok , in this fight against Moore , Duran is 32 and weights 152 , so this is as close as I can get them at this stage in their careers.

Duran wins this against a pretty green Moore, but I have really studied Duran's movement , and it is terrible to say but he actually has some Hatton like weaknesses in his defence, the head isnt moving like it used to and the right hand is constantly being dropped. The difference is that Duran still had that amazing power to get him out of trouble.

But at this stage in their careers , both at 32 I would say Manny gives Duran a painful beating.

Duran's defence was superb in this fight.

I think Manny's feet and movement would be the difference. So fast. Anything could happen if Duran lands, though. To say he wouldn't land over 15 is foolish. I think Manny boxes well and makes Duran look like a trainwreck early, but then Duran stays with it and hurts Manny. I dunno what happens after that.

The Duran who beat Moore was already starting to slow down from his peak, he had lost to Benitez, Laing and gave up in the second Leonard fight. Manny would be able to get in and out of range while releasing his shots against Roberto, and beat him on sheer work rate which by this point wasnt Durans greatest attribute.

However, The Duran at 135 and the guy who turned up to fight Leonard in Montreal is a different story. This version of Duran was relenting, always in front of you dodging, weaving and hitting hard with both hands. If he can catch Leonard (who is faster than Manny) for 15 rounds he can certainly cause damage to Pacquiao for 12. This version Duran would definitely have a strong chance of beating Pacquiao, not only beating him... Destroying him !!

It is an ESB cardinal sin to say that Pacquiao wins any fantasy matchup.

He was exposed because he fought the likes of Hagler, Hearns, Leonard and Barkley amongst others. What the HELL do you think happens if Manny Pacquiao fights the mentioned four?:patsch

that kind of sucks, with mayweather its the opposite people make him godlike in fantasy matchups, means they will be doing this in 10 years as well.
Like if pAc only could beat brawlers or something.

Manny is a former superflyweight.. Hagler and Barkley are career middleweights... Leonard and Hearns are Welterweights +

Manny would never be allowed in the ring with any of them.. he wouldnt be able to reach Tommys head.

It's to Pacquiaos great credit that these sorts of fights are even mentioned.. he's such a boxing freak in terms of his accomplishments.

Well Duran was pretty much way past it for the Moore fight.

It was just one of those fights that was stylisitically made for Duran much like the Barkley fight.

Higher weights being weights that Manny has never fought at?

He went fifteen with Hagler at middle.:patsch

Doubt Pac would survive against any version of Duran.
