LOL, i know right. Marquez is 6 years older and has been in just as many if not more wars, but for some reason only Manny is past it.

We agree with Pac being an unskilled brawler, however, JMM is 39 years old and is clearly on the decline as evident by his slow punching. So yes, I do think it's his greatest win considering Manny had his best training camp ever and Manny was focused in this fight.

Exactly, for these last 2 fights, Pac and Roach believed that had finally caught an "old marquez" at the tail end of hisa career and that they could stop him and then fool the public and be like "see told you Pac was better"

The grisly old veteran made them pay big time for their arrogance and disrespect

No and stop the equivocating. These guys are galaxies apart. Mayweather fought the fights the fans wanted to see. Regardless of who the guy was or his style. How do we know? He also fought those guys on the incline or during high points of their careers. The numbers tell you. It is just the post fight revision says FMJ cherry picked. Why? He made guys, no matter the style, look that bad.

Pac's career is a fraud. This dude made it all the way up to 154* and fought the same guy in different sized packages. EVERY "great" fight Pac fought was with a guy who was in decline, NOT the best, and/or had some massive issue outside of the ring. Even after all of this he slapped catch-weights on guys to further fix the outcomes.

I wouldn't even care, but Pac's fans need to stop acting like Pac is in any way near FMJ's talent level.

    * That fight with Margarito was a fraud as well as Margarito was gifted a belt in a division he was pushed out of, on a suspension, and again... the same fighter Pac ALWAYS fights.

    Somebody gets it.

Pac has been cherry picking, but so has Floyd. Most fighters have actually. People just focus on it more when it comes to these two fighters.

    Beats
    Barrera (x2)
    Morales (x2)
    Diaz
    Hatton
    Cotto
    Clottey
Marquez(x2...he won at least 1 if not 2 of those fights legitimately,so lets just keep it at the official record of 2)
    A controversial loss to Bradley

    Amongst many other legitimate contenders.

    All that = fraud apparently

You obviously didn't read. I never called him a fraud. I just said that he wasn't elite. He was overhyped and got a product of careful mathcmaking. And I'm not necessarily blaming him.

Let's look at the fight that propelled him into mainstream stardom from both a casual and hardcore boxing fan perspective. The De La Hoya fight.

Casual Fans saw Pac demolish DLH, a big puncher who appeared to be a much bigger man. That made him look better than what he was.

Hardcore fans saw Pac demolish 36 year old fighter at a weight he hadn't made in 9 years who was so drained, that he weighed 2 pounds less than Pac on fight night.

That wasn't Pac's fault, but the point is, he fought a lot of guys in the worse shape of their careers and thats how the myth kept growing.
