Manny Pacquaio to possibly campaign at 140 again after Clottey?

It's funny that you mentioned Floyd going down to 140lbs. That is where I want Floyd and Manny to fight. To prove Floyd's greatness, I want Floyd to fight Manny where he (Manny) is best suited and that is 140lbs.

But unfortunately, Floyd can't even make 144lbs. So no, Floyd is not a natural JWW.

So what does Floyd walk around at? He usually stays in the gym. I'd actually be surprised if he did walk around over 150.

I want Manny to stay at 140. I think that is probably his best weight.

Mayweather weighed in just 3 pounds over the WW limit for a LMW fight. of course he came back down.

I'd be surprised if he wasn't closer to 160 than 150.

This would be a disaster & Id think less of Pacquiao if he dropped to 140.

He must fight the FMJ-SSM fight if he beats Clottey.... you should never go backwards in boxing, Pacman has proved he is a top tier WW by beating Miguel Cotto, it shouldnt matter if Manny can make 140, the facts are... he can compete & win vs the best WWs & the best p4p fighters aka legacy fights are at WW.

Any real fan would rather Pac stayed at WW, he MUST face the Mosely-Mayweather winner if he beats Clottey... anything less should not be tolerated by fans no matter how much you may like the man as a fighter..... same applies to FMJ & SSM.

    Thats all !

you'd be surprised if...but know for a fact that pac is at the low end of 150 and therefor pacquaio is a lot smaller than floyd.....

c'mon man, they're both welterweights now

I know for a fact that Floyd was unable to make 144 in his last fight and hasn't fought at 140 since 2005. While Pacquiao weighed in at 138 less than a year ago and 129 as recently as 2008.

I also know for a fact that while Pacquiao could walk around at 150 pounds, there is no chance in hell that Floyd does. Even though I don't have the proof, I know this for a fact.

Sound like you are more of a Pacquiao fan than boxing fan TBH.

Pac is too much for ANY 140 lber, he can compete & beat WWs, ask Cotto & likely Clottey on march 13th.... Id love to see Pac vs the Floyd-Shane winner... I dont understand why anyone would not want this unless their sole intention is for Pac to keep fighting fights were he is almost gauranteed to win & hardly gets tested.

Pac-Clottey winner vs Floyd-SSM winner..... all this 140 talk is a major anti-climax, lets keep it real please.

I'd like to see Pac vs the winner of SSM-PBF for sure, but I'd also like to see Pacquiao fight at 140 a few times because I wanna see the best in the sport fight at his absolute best capacity, not always at a disadvantage because of the weightclass (even though he is winning)

Its not that big a deal in the end. But I would absolutely love to see Pac vs Bradley at 140. The champ against the clear cut #1 contender.
