True, but that fight arguably his most dangerous and for the belt. You have to technically call the DLH match a catchweight, but if you don't see the weight issue not much I can really say.

Not really. Mayweather retired. He was gone. He wasn't taking up space in a division and not fighting. I also didn't see anyone lining up to fight him at WW who made both competitive and financial sense.

Manny is now making a habit of fighting guys that are worth a FRACTION of what he should be getting based on a fear of needles? Does this make sense?

The winner of PBF-SSM should be priority number 1 for Pac's next fight. Barring that, who else is out there? Berto, maybe. A possible Bradley fight could be interesting. Plus it would be quite the feat for Pac to hold and defend two belts from different weights.

It's evident PacGwire is cycling off his "boost".

A die hard hater, probably loiter around all the Pac threads:rofl:rofl Technically you don't have a clue...Hoya and Mosley were both dropping back down to welter at the time...Hoya fought Forbes 3 months earlier at 150 to see how he did with the weight... The Hoya Floyd rematch was to be at 147:deal

Frankly, I'd be excited to see Pac/Bradley. Honestly. That would be a tremendous mixture of speed and skill. A treat if it could happen.

It's just a negotiation ploy for the future, nothing serious about it.

Unless Pacquiao loses dramatically against "The GrandMaster" in "The Event".

Whew, just typing it makes me hype-fatigued already. :rofl

I am not faulting Pac for it. It just puts the win in perspective. If you don't see that then you are a fool. DLH made a boneheaded decision and Pac capitalized. You're too simple to analyze the situation.

No I know all the technical BS surrounding this. Yes the rematch was at 147, but FMJ had already beaten him at his desired weight, 154, first. If you don't see the difference between the situations again, I call you a simpleton.

Yes he did and smallish WW Forbes put the mitts on DLH. Is that the face of a guy who just UDed an undersized feather fisted (24% KO) B-/C+ level fighter?

You, like most Pac fans, don't know much about boxing.

Your just making this up to support your opinion. Not true at all. Floyd's body doesn't even have potential for 160. He couldn't even make 154 to fight Oscar. Timothy Bradley likely walks around at a bigger weight than him.

Manny can not afford to continue risking getting caught using roids of course he is going to move back down to the weight class he belongs at. and when he does watch them call out Mayweather at a weight they know Floyd can no longer make, its a stradegy set out to save face...

First he moves up to get away from JMM now he moves down to get away from Floyd.

the Oscar fight was almost three years ago.

Also, that line of reasoning doesn't work. Pac couldn't even make 140 to fight Hatton, but that doesn't mean he was walking around below 140.

You can distinguish if people are boxing fans or Pacquiao fans by whether they think him moving down to 140 is a good idea or not.

As a boxing fan I want to see the best, most competitive fights possible and that is fights between Pacquiao, Mayweather and Mosley, preferably all of them facing each other over the next 12 months or so.

What I don't want to see is Pacquiao dropping down a weight that will rob me of such fights, so he can be dominant in an inferior weight class but I can see how this will be appealing to Pacquiao fans.
