Manny Pacquaio to possibly campaign at 140 again after Clottey?

Pac v Bradley would be a great fight, but Pac v Floyd would be better. Saying that he is definitely more suited to LWW and theres no guarantee a fight with Floyd would happen!

I can definately see your point. I'm both a boxing fan and a Pacquiao fan therefore I wanna see Pac vs PBF and SMM but I also wanna see Pac clean out at 140, especially against Tim Bradley. I can see though how someone who is only a boxing fan but doesn't like Pacquiao would want him to remain at a weightclass where is always fighting bigger opponents until he eventually loses, instead of fighting at a weightclass where he is even better and where he will likely not lose.

Couldn't and didn't are different words. Pacquiao could have made 140 to fight Hatton, he just didn't. Pacquiao weighed in at 142 for DeLaHoya and re-hydrated to 148.5 pounds on fight night. Floyd when he fought Oscar by his own commentary actually lost a pound or 2 between the weigh in and fight night. The point of bringing the Oscar thing up is the fact that Floyd is a small welterweight. This is general knowledge. Whether its 3 years ago or yesterday Floyd's body has peaked. Between fights Floyd has stated himself that he stays around 147. There is no line of reasoning to a baseless assumption that he walks around closer to 160. Shane Mosley stated that he walks around at 160 pounds and its quite clear that Shane is a bigger man than Floyd.

Liking Pacquiao/Mayweather/Mosley or not is irrelevant from my perspective, as a boxing fan I want to see the best fighters against each other in competitive matches.

People have criticised Mayweather and rightly so for not always fighting the best opponents out there, he's now making one of the biggest fights possible happen so credit to him for that, if Pacquiao decides to drop down rather than making one of these fights happen then he should come in for just as much criticism dropping down to fight in less competitive fights so he's at less risk of losing.

It's a smart tactic because if it doesn't work he can still fight a legitimate opponent in Valero who he can look good against at a weight that's better suited for him anyways.
