One was a body shot KO and one was a low blow KO. Nothing really compares to what Pac went through against Marquez. From the third round knockdown to the KO itself, Pacquiao never experienced anything like that before.

But it was noobs who placed those KO's, showing that Pacquaio, like Khan, got some vulnerability.

Honestly, it really would come down to who catches who at this point.

Lets not forget Pacman went down from a flush right in the 3rd down. His body is feeling the effects of all the wars/years of fighting for the fans. Which we all loved to see but this proves that the smart fighters last the longest (Mayweather, Hopkins, Calazaghe, Klitzchos, etc...)

If Khan doesn't use his advatages (speed, height, quickness) he too will be done by his early 30's if not sooner.

The TS still talking about how Pacquiao got KO'd like what .. back in 1999?
Can't be serious, Comparing Khan to Pacquiao just because of what happened on the weekend, Pacquiao is one of the ATG's and has achieved a lot in boxing.

Pacquiao has been in many many wars.

This would be a good tune up for Pac. No, seriously. A KO would do wonders for Pac and Khan would present enough of a challenge so that Pac would get in some good work but not over exert himself. I like this idea. Rios is a decent fight for Pac but the way Rios fights, if he wins, you end up brutalized. Not sure that's a good idea coming off a nasty KO. Khan would take this fight if he beats Molina convincingly. He'll suddenly feel rejuvenated, will tweet something along the lines of, "The King is back. Roach who? I'm ready have the world kiss my PPV ass...blah..blah.."

The money will be there. There's also a nice story involved (Roach/Khan feud). Why not? Obviously Arum won't allow it. But from a fan's perspective it should be a nice matchup.

    :deal

Khan most likely still gets stopped by Marquez in "beast mode", but he gives him lots of problems first. Styles make fights.

Point is after a brutal KO like that your pretty much done, especially witha fighter who has been in LOTS of tough fights.

You think Glen Johnson would have KTFO Roy Jones pre Tarver knockout? No need yto answer cause you know he wouldn't have. I just don't think a lot of people understand how crucual that knockout was. You just dont shake that off and grow a beard (great chin for you all that dont KSAB) ala Rios. Your punch resistance will never be the same. But dont take my word for it, if he returns, you'll see

They've been sparring partners so have worked each other out to a level. I don't see Khan being able to exploit too much. Khan has a reach advantage, but right now it won't be enough. Lets see what Hunter can do with him and how much Manny declines by the time they start talking about the possibility of this fight. Might be a while
