Maybe he could not fight either, and fight the undefeated world champion in his division, or maybe he could challenge himself versus Paul Williams, maybe he could fight one of the 140 lb guys (Khan, Bradley, Alexander), perhaps he could have faught Martinez who's belt he claims to have from the 154 lb weight class. He has no problem claiming to be a "champion" in this weight class, yet won't defend his title because guys are too big? There are plenty of options besides Mosley and/or Marquez, that's the main idea.

Cant see it, although its definitely plausible imo. If he is to stop Mosley, could be on accumulation, a corner-man retiring his fighter cause he's getting touched up too much, something of that nature, I cant see Manny knocking him out though.

Mosley's biggest problem in this fight, and there are many, is that although his best chance in the fight is his power, Manny's leaky defense, Mosley's power is effected by his stamina levels due to his age, meaning there is less and less on his punches the more tired he gets, and Pacquiao will be fresh enough early, to able to constantly move, so he could make it to the mid rounds and stay out of arms-way whilst Mosley's is fresh, capable of exploiting him with his power.

 

Mosley got shutout even worse then Marquez. Yes he hurt him but Marquez actually kept landing...
And Marquez fought Katsidis at 145 while Pac fought Margarito at 148. 3 Pounds aint **** and it will still be a competitive fight.

I think SSM makes it closer than many expect, goes the distance, but comes up short.

From about 6th round on, when everyone at home is feeling sorry for Shane, Nazim will be telling him to show him something, so he doesn't have to do what Shane don't want him to do (Throw in the towel) Like he was saying in the Mayweather fight. I expect Nazim to throw in the towel round 8. I'm worried for Shane's face!

Yes Pac will be the first to stop Mosley. Mosley will not be able to handle the speed. At this age Mosley's reflexes are shot. You give him a Margo or Mayorga and he will do well b/c he doesn't have to find them. Pac-man will not be easy to find. Mosley also won't be able to get out of the way when Pac shoots off 6 punch combos. We will all feel bad for Mosley as he won't be able to land on Pac or defend himself well.

 

honestly, Pac would look good no matter who he fights. Arum is just picking whoever is giving Pac the biggest payday

Pac would beat any version of Mosley, ever.
