I think Pacquiao is hoping to finish up his career with Mayweather, again. If time somehow allows, he needs to have a warm-up fight beforehand- where he looks mean to grow interest.

Personally I've seen enough of Marquez and Pac. Also- I believe that Crawford is a probable loss and Matthysse represents a good, tough battle that he may not need coming off of rehab. That does leave Maidana, Khan, Paulie (yes, as a joke to some degree)...

If Bob is going to support him in this, he needs a non-dangerous fight. I think Khan is that. Frankly, I also think Maidana is that. (and the dictionary has a picture of Paulie by "Non-threatening opponent")

As a Pac fan, I'd like to see him finish his career well. I'm fine if he has another shot at Floyd. We'll see if it works out.

    I always enjoy your posts!

Realistically, based on what people are saying... I don't see Pac fighting Matthysse, Bradley, or Marquez. I'd put Vargas at the top of the list, despite his loss to Bradley. Then Mayweather or Crawford.

Pac would be coming of a big surgery so Vargas would be a good fight under those cirucmstances

abuffy, thanks. didn't realize Pac had not started his rehab. bad news. your right though. it does depend on the body and/or degree of the injury and some other stuff.

Maybe Pac can fight Berto after Floyd's through with him.

I thought 2 minutes ago you were saying you wish he would retire because he's clearly "shot?"

    Probably Alvarado, Provodnikov, or Vargas.

How is that so when you claim an injured Pac beat Mayweather 7-5? Surely if he can beat Mayweather while injured he can beat another top fighter with ease when fully healed. You're a flip flop.

    Thanks :]

If I were to break down the opponents probability,

Mattyhsse: Definitely realistic. It'd be super fun of a fight and just the type of style that makes Pacquiao look good.

Khan: With Al Haymon, so not probable (Maybe Khan leaves Haymon after failing to get the Mayweather fight?)

Maidana: With Al Haymon, so not probable

Thurman: With Al Haymon, so not probable

Crawford: With Top Rank, definitely realistic. Tough fight. I'd see that as a "cash out" kind of fight so maybe further in the future.

Marquez: It's all up to Marquez, but I know Pac would jump at the opportunity. It's possible but not as realistic as the other two.

Mayweather: With Al Haymon, but unlike the others, if he asks Al Haymon to get the fight done again- Haymon will listen. Floyd does what he wants. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if they signed a 2-fight deal in the last contract. Surprisingly, I think this is the most likely. Funny aint it? This was always the bottom of my list of probability before their first fight and now I have it as my most probable for Pacquiao's early 2015 fight.

He has his personal agenda stapled to his forehead for all to see. Yeah, that cute little pink spiral notebook with the flower in the top corner, that one.

Probably Rios II if Rios loses again. Algieri lost so maybe Algieri II.

Yeah. Bob Arum is not happy about Pac putting it off either. He was quoted saying, "He drives me crazy," in response to the situation. If Pacquiao's shoulder isn't back to 100%, he'll have no one to blame but himself.
