You said Pac eats up pressure fighters. I was just making the point that it depends who the pressure fighter is. Spence may turn out to be better than any pressure fighter that Pac has fought.

I would give him more credit if he fought a "fresher" version of Oscar at 154. Funny how Pac gets credit for beating Oscar but Mayweather doesn't.

Mayweather-De La Hoya was close (some had Oscar winning including Floyd Sr.).

Pac came up 2 divisions, OUTBOXED, and RETIRED him.

I don't want to point out the obvious but feel like I have to. Mayweather was considered the absolute best at 147 and moved up to 154 to fight Oscar. Mayweather was considered the favourite in that fight despite being the smaller guy.

Pacquiao was fighting the same year as he fought DLH at 130lbs. Not 135, not 140, not 147 like Mayweather. Pacquiao was a +160 underdog in that fight.

No one predicted what happened that night, it was a slaughter.

I'll go with 2009 Pac over 2016 Spence. If you think Spence wins, I'm cool with that. Spence's a good puncher, but there are liabilities... Mainly the speed and flow. He's not very fluid. There seems to be a pause in between his punches like he is ever so slightly resetting to maximize power. He's not slow, but he's not fast. Pac would punch WITH him and damage him.

Oscar was SHOT when he fought Pac. I give Pac credit for beating Cotto. Oscar? Not so much. That version of Oscar had a hard time climbing through the ropes.

And Pac was old and semi-shot when Floyd finally fought him. AND he cheated w/ illegal IVs.

    Zero credit to Floyd, then?

I always thought Mayweather would have an easy time with Pac. Not a big deal in my opinion.
