Yeah Pac does make some excuses. As a huge Pac fan, I honestly DGAF about this loss. He's ancient. Pac should have ended it after Thurman. Would have been a great end to his career. They don't know when to stop.
It's an extremely rare occcurence for fighters to will themselves to retire from the sport with their health and wealth intact -- as Gene Tunney and Jimmy McLarnin did -- before the sport retires them.
Old fighters really have the opportunity to come across positive by just owning their age. It's real. But they have a pride and eye to the future that won't allow it. He did say age was a "big factor" so I'm not saying he's running from it. But he should full on embrace it.
When you get two more promotions you'll just about reach IDIOT status. Are you back at school yet ?? lol
He never used plaster to try killing his opponets It's only banter with manny. Unlike you, I actually respect all top level boxers You respect scumbag that needed bricks to compete Margacheato is such a f....g loser. I have never seen a bigger bum in my life. Every boxing fan laughs at him lol
People always call it excuse making if someone opens up about how the loss happened. You would think that everyone would be interested to hear what went down, and hate the canned responses and information-free responses carefully worded to avoid anyone calling it an excuse.
I call them reasons instead of excuses. Legs tightening up is due to age. I think he should have just gone all the way to say his hands got heavy. The needles from the Morales fights was totally an excuse though
Pac is a 42 year old lightweight who fought a WW who's style is basically among the worst for him. Easy to keep someone who's half your size off you for 12 rounds especially if he's an old slowed down version.
I agree that he's telling the truth. I believe most of his reasons as things that did actually bother him in his fights. But I also believe most fighters got something going on. Most athletes are always dealing with something that's nagging them. Comes with the territory when your body is your main tool. Some fighters just swallow the excuses/reasons and just give credit. Pac is mostly gracious in defeat though. He's not a horrible loser imo.
