Yeah, he did sell that to the ref. He was not really that hurt. But Barrera did at least a couple of intentional butts and cheap shots that were dangerous and potentially "game changing" when they first met, and Manny never really said a word about it. That MP-MAB II fight, the ref wouldn't have taken a point away from MAB so quickly if he had no prior history of throwing cheap shots. MAB had it coming.
pac will absolute go down if cotto hits him flush. i will be really amazed if won't, but i think it's unlikely, cotto is a very strong welter. but another question is, will cotto able to catch him? i'm not saying that pac is a defensive master, but he's fast and quick in his feet.
Hatton slammed Pacquiao with a straight right which steadied him, but he took it fair enough and came back to KO Hatton not long after.
Cotto's going to have a tough time hitting him clean with any regularity...and even then, Pac has a low center of gravity and looks real sturdy. He should be able to take some shots from Cotto, but I wouldn't advise him to take too many of them because even Clottey looked like he felt some of MC's punches. BTW - is this a title fight?
