No its not, fighters go past their primes while holding titles dip ****, what are you talking about? seriously? you act as if just cus the man was the Champion back then that there was no way he could have been past his prime.

That is ****ing pathetic if you ask me.

Barrera was featherweight king and rank # 3 P4P in the world no matter what you say. The fact is he was the best featherweight in the world when pac beat his azz.

Morales was past his prime but he can still fight as he showed it against pac during their first fight.

Delahoya was still a 2-1 favorite and your azz said he will knockout pacquiao before december 6. Now you discredit him for coming in and beating your idol:rofl

Are you denying that MAB had slowed down by the time he fought Pacquiao?

and discrediting pac wins over barrera is just as pathetic. Pac came in as the underdog and gave barrera a beating of a lifetime.

no i aint denying he slowed down or he wasn't the same but to discredit pac by saying barrera is past prime and isn't the same anymore is just pathetic. Mab was the favorite in that fight and pac who was a nobody back then beat his azz. Give the man his props instead of making excuses for barrera.

By pac hater criteria manny would have had to beat these guys within a 2 hour window in June of 2002. Anything before that and they were past their prime or shot.

So not being prime now only applies to guys that are on the downslide. If a fighter was still improving and proved later on to be much better then he wasn't green he was prime.

Clinton Mitchell should be thrilled that he beat a prime hopkins.

morales beats a green (skillwise) pac. a green pac beats a prime mab decesively and have a draw with a prime jmm.

man you are really bitter. you had to rehash this kind of threads every month dude.

Nobody discredits those wins, we just tend to not Over Credit them neither, and that is why so many of you are hating, Some of you saw him beat up these shot fighters and assumed that he is the best thing since Sliced bread.

Look Pacquiao is a great fighter no doubt, but lets just look at it this way, the legands of the sport, Do not lose to guys past their prime, they seperate themselves from the rest.

in his fights with Marquez which is the only recent fighter Manny has fought in his prime, he did not seperate himself from Marquez both fights were close, even with a total of 24 rounds and four knock downs only 1 single point seperates these two men.

Sorry but if he were to be considered an ATG like Sal Sanchez and Chavez he would have been able to perform better in those fights and would not have a loss to a shot Morales neither.

You're stupid if you think Morales wasn't.

Morales had RECENTLY lost to MAB. The same MAB he had beat twice IMO. But he dug deep against Pac and beat him. He then lost to a journey man, and that pretty much solified that he was indeed way past his best. Think about it, he lost to Raheem.

But the problem is that you *******s didn't even know who Morales, Mab were untill 2003. That's why you don't understand why the die hard fans who knew their careers say they were past their BEST. They WERE PAST THEIR BEST.

Morales was shot in the first fight but still put a beating on Pac and had Pac on the verge of tears and quiting like when he fought Agapito.

    True Story!:deal

I dont like marquez cuz of his a sore loser but i know he is one of the best fighter today even at 35 yrs old. Pac and marquez are two of the best fighter in the planet today so saying that pac should be able to perform better is pathetic. Marquez and Pacman are talented fighters so it's hard for one of them to dominate the other. As we saw 24 rounds together and 1 point seperated them cuz both are just that good.

So what if he loss to morales? Chavez loss to Frankie Randall and who the hell is frankie randall? He is not even consider an ATG like morales. Marquez loss to john and Norwood. Everybody can have a bad day every now and then. Pac learned from the morales loss and has gotten better.
