No one did more PEDs than Floyd "750 ML of IV fluids" Mayweather who is the Lance Armstrong of boxing.

I was going to avoid this conversation because it just leads to a rabbit hole of strawmans.

And it's the easiest way to discredit a fighter. Even though some have never actually failed a test.

Doesn’t mean nothing. Guilty before proven innocent.

How does one exactly go about proving innocence regarding PEDs.

Well let’s see. Accordion to some posters criteria.

    -back acne check
    -big head check

For me it’s performance. Manny had multiple primes. His performance spiked to levels never shown before. You don’t go from a 400 punch a fighter to 1000 punch per fight fighter back to a 400 punch per fight fighter. And these aren’t JC/Usyk slaps. These were full blown power punches.

As I mentioned earlier, manny has kidney problems and has to take medication for it and he has a bum ticker. These are clear signs of PEDs. For Manny is just common sense the man took PEDs.

I saw dozens of fights from both, enough to verify that in their primes Pacquiao was a level above Mayweather. I'd seen them both decline to a point that I was no longer interested in their match. I'd never enjoyed a Mayweather fight so I stopped watching him. People would always say that his haters were making him rich, because people only watched him hoping to see him lose. I decided to stop feeding the troll and rewarding his bad behavior. I still watch Pacquiao fights and he's dropped off precipitously.

By the time I stopped watching Mayweather he couldn't beat the top five welterweights: Brook, Khan, Thurman, Porter, and Spence. Neither could Pac. Their fight was a pure formality by that point and proved nothing.

Mayweather looked better than he was because he was a cherry picker. Pacquiao was always a level or two above him. Pacquiao was last generation's Roberto Duran and Mayweather was it's Leonard.

Yes, we definitely can if we've seen Pacquiao fight in his prime and then seen him fight around the time he fought Mayweather. His output by that point was half what it had been and his style had undergone substantial changes both in reaction to Marquez knocking him out and to his slowed reflexes. This isn't just against Mayweather. It was noticeable when he fought anybody. If you think that Oscar was a shell of himself when he fought Pacquiao then be honest that Pacquiao was a shell of himself when he fought Mayweather.

I agree with everything you said, except this. You should have left this paragraph out.

Jones and Pac were the best in their time slot and their respective prime weights.

As you know P4P will ALWAYS be a debate. Had you titled it as - The most Entertaining fighter , then there won't be too much disagreement.

Cool I was just trying to clarify the distinction from who is literally the best fighter from who is the best pound for pound fighter. Because they are 2 completely different things.

What do you attribute Manny looking so poor in getting schooled but being gifted the third fight against Marquez? Was that not in 2011, still in his peak after beating Mosley? That was just a fighter who would've looked great against many others not able to use his speed against an elite boxer mover counterpuncher who was timing him with jabs and rights all fight. There was almost no difference between that Pacquaio and the Pacquiao who Floyd outboxed even more decisively in 2015.

    Porter would've beaten Floyd, lol.

If Pacquiao doesn't want to be bashed again and again at the end of his career like Roy Jones jr. was then he should hang them up now.

A fighter who is a level above pbf doesn't lose to a faded em nor does a fighter a level above pbf never beat jmm clearly. Pbf doesnt lose to a faded em nor does he need 4 fights to beat jmm clearly period let that sink in. A level above come on man stop it.

I'm willing to admit that FMJ is a better fighter than Manny Pacquiao. On a H2H basis he probably is. FMJ is a bigger and stronger man. Though I can easily say that Sergey Kovalev is a far better fighter than FMJ is because he actually is.

Who is a better fighter, Marvin Hagler or Roberto Duran? The answer is Marvin Hagler. He destroyed Tommy Hearns and Duran would never last more than a few rounds against Hearns. And I doubt Duran could have beaten a couple of the fighters that Hagler beat. Not to mention Hagler did beat Duran as well. But who is the better p4p fighter, Hagler or Duran? The answer is Duran, you would struggle to find somebody who says Hagler.

Pacquiao and RJJ are simply the best p4p fighters of my lifetime.
