MANNY PACQUIAO and the WELTERWEIGHTS (Mad Respeck)

    Alexander and Maidana reminded me of just how special Manny Pacquiao is. They rehydrated to 156 and 157, respectively. I remember Lamont Peterson rehydrating 15 pounds to 155 against Khan. Big ups to Pacquiao because the dude is ALWAYS the smaller fighter. Even 'lightweight' Marquez outweighed him by 2 pounds on fight night. In Bradley, Pacquiao will be fighting yet another guy that's bigger than him. Since Bradley is walking around at 165, I wouldn't be shocked if he came in at 155 - 158 on fight night.

    This is true. I always said 140 is best for pac... But he seems tO stick to 147

    pacquiao's best weight right now is around 145. he would not need to starve himself to go down 140 but even with enough food, he can never weight above 145 and above 148/149 on fight night.
