Yeah, Marquez is a featherweight who outweighed the last welterweight he fought by two lbs but having said this, JMM is indeed special. As I have been saying, he is Pac's equal if not better but no, he's not 1-1 but 0-2 at WW.

fighters who were over 10 pounds heavier than pac on fight night did worse or just as bad as others who were smaller, the fighters who beat Pac, Marquez and Morales, were smaller or only had a few pounds over Pac(less than 5)

 

Marquez is 1 vs 1, that's very hard to argue at welter.

Marquez is not Pac's equal they have very different styles, Marquez is far more technically skilled, that's why age, and weight didn't affect him against Pac, who already had 5 fights at welter or higher, it was Marquez's second. Pac is simply not as effective again'st certain styles, Marquez's style is one of them.
