Manny Pacquiao has come to a decision on whether or not he's going to retire. He said,

"I'm going to continue my career as a boxer even though my family encourages me to stop fighting and retire. I told them I decided to continue. It's not about the material things. It's not about the money. It's about continuing to bring honor to our country."

On possible future fights, there's was only one innuendo.

"Thank you all [the Inquirer] for your media coverage over my fight with Mayweather. . .I told my team made a mistake. We were focusing our training on a boxing match when we should've been focusing on a marathon. So, next time in the rematch, we'll focus on boxing and marathon."

Dan Rafael reported early this morning that Pacquiao will fly in over July 4th to get his shoulder re-evaluated by his surgeon, so, more timeframes will be given on his possible return to the ring; however, Arum and his team have consistenty said it won't be till early 2016.

I know, but it's his decision. Even with his loss to Mayweather, he is still dangerous to fighters. Mayweather even said it himself that Pac had a lot left. If Pac went down to 140, he could really dominate down there.

I would favor a 50 percent PAC over everyone but why still put yourself though it after this long?

Would of preferred if he retired

Don't know if that's a dig at him, but considering he just fought the best fighter in the world, Floyd Mayweather Jr., it does appear he wants to continue fighting the best available.

Dude needs to retire and not let arum milk him!

He is only boxing for money now...and he can't say he is fighting for his country when he fights in the US with a $65 PPV against a shoddy opponent. I bet Provodnikov will be picked for his next opponent at 140.

Pacquiao Matthysse @ 140 might be interesting though.

He was boxing the first fight, he was made to box by Floyd. So basically he's saying the second fight will be the exact same as the first, it can't get much more horrible than that.

if there is a second fight, they have to have a referee that ain't going to allow all them grabbing and power hugs. if that happens, we will def have a different fight.
