Agreed. He was much less aggressive because Mayweather maintained just enough range to negate Pac's offense. And when Pac got into range, clinch. Simple but effective.

    :|:|:| Excuses, Excuses ...

Two reasons: 1) SCHOOLED, 2) USADA!

Funny how most Floyd fans knew this would happen exactly as it has for the last FIVE years. We didn't know the exact excuse Pac would use but we knew he would have one and likely more. FACT!

It won't be a different fight. The only thing different will be Mayweather getting 2 points taken off max and still winning 114-112

I knew the fans would make excuses but not the fighter. His claims would hold more weight if it a) showed in the fight and b) he checked the box. The way they handled it post-fight was sloppy. And I was ready to give Pacquiao full credit for whipping Floyd's ass too.

He should retire, he has enough money, nothing left to prove, and he doesn't have a snow***** chance in hell to beat floyd.

    It's over.

Manny needs to secure a final easy pay day, and they don't come much easier than destroying the bum from Bolton Amir Khan.

It's not that Pacquiao was ineffective. It's that Floyd MADE him ineffective.

Look lets get this straight once & for all & then put it to bed.

Floyd Mayweather did NOT beat Manny Pacquaio on May 2
Floyd/TheNSAC /Vegas conspired together to beat Pacquaio. The NSAC knew 2 weeks before the fight Pac had a torn rotator cuff. To his credit Pac said that if he was allowed to use Todoral injections he could go ahead with the fight though as that would dull the pain. USADA OK'd the Todoral so did NSAC. Then come fight night the doctor went to give Pac the todoral shot & was told he was not allowed to. They claimed Pac had not ticked the box on the form saying he was injured so the todoral was out so was his water & vitamin tablets. If that was not deliberate sabotage pray tell me what is?????
Claims that Mayweather "schooled " Pac are ludicrous all Floyd did was run & hold & Kenny Bayless stood there and let him. He knew the judges would make sure he got the decision backed up by the ludicrous 118-110 & 117-111 scorecards tendered
No way was this an on the level fight it was a travesty

No keyboard warrior should ever feel entitled to tell a champ when to hang em up. That is up to the fighter. He dedicated his life to entertaining you, if he wants to keep going, then as a fan, support your guy.

the welters should be very happy with this news. they still have a chance to experience fighting the pac until he becomes a gate keeper. this is repaying the sport that made him at what he is now. it makes a good example for other boxers not just to milk the sport and shun it. true atg's just really comes once in a while. the mini fab 4 are just plain atg fighters.

Cant believe people still want pac vs floyd. Rather watch lucas vs pac, garcia vs pac to see pac end him, thurman, porter . All better action pac fights where pac shines. Pac cant beat floyd, but pac still holds better legacy.
