So I see you're not gonna look it up.Oppenheimer was definitely the main scientist and the head scientist. But there were 5 black scientist who assisted in the manhattan project and you have not denied that and can not deny that. They were Edwin R. Russell and George W. Reed, as well as the chemists Moddie D. Taylor and the brothers William J. and Lawrence H. Knox. Why hate on the brothers? The eminent white physicist Arthur Holly Compton remarked that the bomb project was unique in bringing together "colored and white, Christian and Jew" for a common purpose.Consider your self educated. It's good history bigger than black or mexican or jew and christian.I am not a hater,I'm just proud of those scientist and of those who practice "the sweet science" as well.Your boy Pacq don't practice the sweet science and neither do the mexicans.
wow, this thread gets more intriguing on every page! Honestly i thought more Floyd extremists would come to troll this up.... purty good article from a Pacquiao enthusiast the best i gained from that is the impact Pacquiao has had on boxing, and the public outside of boxing. All in all, Pacquiao has been and IS very good for boxing. One Floyd supporter made a push in saying that Floyd should get even acknowledgement. I would say thats about 1/2 way right. I would say that Floyd is Pacquiao's equal in the boxing world in most all cases. Pacquiao separates himself from Floyd outside the Boxing world, which makes the other half. Why Mayweather doesnt get all the media attention, blitz, and praise from others outside the boxing community? Well, first you need to have a likeable personality, have class and character. Unfortunately, Mayweather has always ran short of that. His demeanor, how he talks down to people, REALLY doesnt make him a likeable person. And the fact that he makes it a point that money comes first above all doesnt lend you to garnish too many admirers. I dont think ive ever seen a champion boo'd at his own venue. If you're a Mayweather fan and you just cant see any of these smoking gun clues, it can be safe to say you're an official *****. Mayweather's a P4P champion but he'll never be considered as a People's Champion or Hero. With Mayweather, you simply cant have your cake and eat it too......
Mayweather is definitely not a peoples champion or "the" peoples champion, but he can beat your 'peoples champion'.We can argue for days and not convince one another.But.When and I say when because I believe it will happen. When, the fight happens, are you willing to put your money where your mouth is?
Well, if you knew how to phrase things, maybe you would warrent different responses with what you say. Theres a difference between, "black scientists helped create the atom bomb" and "fool, black scientists created the atom bomb". One lists them as the sole creators, and another as contributors. Learn to express yourself. Pac is NOT my boy, read the OP.
I will consider myself schooled,if you will acknowledge the five scientist who "assisted" in the project.I will acknowledge that pacq is not your "boy" and is a great brawler and that I went too far saying,"fool, black scientists created the atom bomb".What do you say?
I disagree about Mayweather being unlikeable. I like his personality. And he's actually really nice to his fans, he more than takes time out to talk to his fans, and acknowledge them. I think the difference in popularity is fighting styles. The general public would rather see a little guy go out and destroy bigger fighters, than Mayweather shoulder roll and jive his way to a win. Both are great fighters in their own right however.
Nice thread. Just wonder why Pac's hate threads on ESB outnumber his appreciation threads 10-1. You'd think he was the most evil boxer ever to lace up a pair of gloves.
Haha, I can also acknowledge that there were more than five black scientists that have contributed to the world. I've personally known black scientists as a matter of fact. But, if you wanna come on here and talk ****, I'll talk **** with you. Like I stated before, we're in the same Mayweather Mafia, we're not enemies, but attacking Fillipinos and Mexicans was uncalled for.
Yeaeah. This is an appreciation and admiration thread of mighty mighty Pac-man.But the haters just can't help themselves. :rofl
Pacq is far from hated.I appreciate Manny myself. But I do think you have to focus on flaws to determine greatness. If this is emotional appreciation then I am disgusted of it as much as Lebron appreciation day that just happened in akron ohio. These guys are athletes doing something they love, our job is to analyze and try to figure who is the greatest.I have no real emotional attachment to Floyd or Pacquiao.I am intriued by them both, yes, but emotionally attached, hell no.I don't hate pacq at all, that would not be cool. However,I do focus on his flaws and Floyd's flaws to figure out if I myself could beat them or coach someone else to beat them. What looks like hate is really frustration with his fans who don't seem to acknowledge any flaws and may be setting themselves up for heartbreak. It's rare to see this,at least I think it is.
"Battle of Mactan" war reenactment. As Chieftain Lapu-Lapu, the man who led his warriors to defeat Spain's globe trotting Armada and killing Portuguese explorer, Ferdinand Magellan. 480 years ahead of Pacquiao, in violently brutalising a European warrior.
