You may not have heard this but once somebody enters the mythical top 5 P4P, doubts become "hating" and support becomes "nut hugging." Come on now yer a vet here San, you know the way the wood works.
As a "fight fan", you should want a fight that's extremely close, entertaining and competitive enough that opens its way up for a rematch which would lead to even MORE money for boxing. That's just if you're a fight fan though.

Morales and Barrera fans don't hate him. Neither do JMM fans. I don't get where all this "hate" talk comes from. There's maybe 4 guys here who don't like him and that's a high estimate.
Manny has a lot of actual fans now after his win over Hatton, not nuthuggers, not haters. The haters and nuthuggers are probably pretty well balanced out. You get all these morons who can't analyse a fight or understand a stylistic advantage who accuse anyone of picking Pacquaio over Cotto a nuthugger.
