I believe that Pacquiao's decline had more to do with other factors besides drugs. First of all remember that he was the 112 pound World Champion and his optimal weight classes physically were 122 and 126 pounds. It's hard to be essentially a blown up Superbantam and Featherweight and then blast out big strong Welterweights. There is a reason no former Flyweight has gone on to run through top WW's and destroy them. Size matters in boxing. Second consider his wars. He was knocked out twice when he was really young, drained and green. So it was easier for his body recover than the typical KO, but it's still not really a good thing for your longevity. Also, does anybody actually remember the first Marquez fight? That was a hellacious war. Or what about the first Morales fight? That was an even more violent and extremely punishing war. How about his wars with Cotto and the body blows he took from Margarito? And then what about him going to sleep for minutes in the fourth Marquez fight? Manny Pacquiao has absorbed a tremendous amount of punishment in his career and this all adds up. Everybody likes to talk about how a fighter is never the same after a knockdown drag out war. But that is never brought up when discussing Pacquiao. They act like the his first fights with Marquez and Morales were just another fight. They were not, they were savage. Also Pacquiao started his decline when he reached age 31-32. He was a noticeably diminished fighter already by the 3rd Marquez fight. Pacquiao fought a young man's style. He was (in his best incarnation) a high volume power puncher with speed. You wouldn't expect a 32 year old to keep up his volume and speed that he had when he was 26 or 27. Go back and watch the first round of the first Marquez fight. And notice the first two knockdowns. Those straight lefts were delivered with absolutely shocking velocity, quickness and explosiveness. Marquez said the reason he went down on the first two knockdowns was because they were so fast he didn't even realize he had been hit until they landed. The 3rd knockdown he said he was out of position and couldn't block it even though he saw it. To sum it up. Being undersized, war torn and old lead to declines in his abilities. I believe that he wasn't on PED's.
I agree that is was weird, but Pacquiao actually did lower his workrate when he moved up. If you notice in his WW fights he still has a great engine, but not what it was in the lower weight classes. His fight against Barrera may be the GOAT exhibition of stamina. From round 2-11 he never stopped. The constant head movement, power punches, speed and activity was out of this world. And he fought the same way in the first Marquez fight. His head never stopped moving, his hands never stopped and the way he was coming through Marquez's right hand was ridiculous. At WW he cut down on a lot of this. He began to fight in a more measured and less frantic style.
With all the accusations and allegations aimed at Manny over the years there hasn't been any proof. Just what Floyd and his camp spread. Ironically, there's a LOT more evidence that Floyd is a PED cheat with actual links that tie him directly to doping. Here's some articles to consider....if there are any articles this damaging that links Manny to doping, let me know because I couldn't find any. http://www.maxboxing.com/news/other-boxing-news/the-ped-mess-part-two https://syndication.bleacherreport....rt-further-clouds-mayweathers-legacy.amp.html http://thecomeback.com/queensberryr...il-multiple-drug-tests-and-other-riddles.html https://www.sbnation.com/longform/2015/9/9/9271811/can-boxing-trust-usada https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...iao-fight-report-says/?utm_term=.6bc00f8f0781 http://larrybrownsports.com/boxing/floyd-mayweather-usada-failed-drug-tests/273147/amp http://www.boxnation.com/boxing-new...ated-the-fallout-from-can-boxing-trust-usada/
Leo Santa Cruz and Brandon Rios are both dudes with far less impressive physiques and conditioning who throw just as many or more punches than Pac. Pac visibly gasses and you can see the punches have lost their snap. That's why he couldn't get Cotto out of there and it was a mercy TKO from Bayless. Take a look at your boy JMM. Dude is tireless, but his punches remain lethal from rounds 1-12 of any fight. Dude took a savage beating and still fired off a nuclear bomb in the 6th. And he ripped insane endless combos round after round against Mike Alvarado.
The A samples became negative in the form of a brown paper bag. Mayweather is the biggest ped cheat the sport of boxing has ever seen.
Saline Jr. is the Lance Armstrong of boxing! Irrefutable proof of drug use: 750 ml of IV fluids (exposed himself when he accused Connie McDougal of using illegal IVs) Tests showed the result of T/E ratios lower than 105 year old Bob Arum's Roid rage (beats on women and children) Balding TMT gym is a drug den (ask Mickey Bey and J'Leon Love)
Isn't Wildcard a drug den too? Justin Fortune (Manny's long time trainer pre and post Ariza) is a long time PED user busted there. James Toney ... Even Roach thinks there was something funny about the Ariza shakes. All we can say is neither Floyd or Pac has ever been caught. But we all have our suspicions.
This might not be direct proof that floyd uses drugs. But all the points listed are essentially the truth!!
Was he caught receiving 750 ml of illegal saline in his own home? Did Bob Bennett & the NSAC grant him a TUE for it 21 days AFTER the event ?? Oh no that was your idol Mayweather wasn't it Did Ray see that ?
Truth - Pacquiao used that A-side meth, Roach/Ariza already admitted it. I wonder if he's juicing atm!!!?
Of course Pac was a ****en HGH user/abuser. Ariza's shakes also. Knocked out twice before he moved to 122.
Where is all the proof? Pac has never tested for PEDS period! Void had to back track on his lies about that. Show us your proof? Post it right here and then you can take Pac to court, oh, Void backed away from that as well! NO PROOF AT ALL!
