Manny Pacquiao had the opportunity to defeat boxings biggest undefeated star. With his refusal to the blood tests, he left a pile of money on the table and blew the opportunity the defeat a HUGE ICON in boxing. Instead, he leaves it on the table for Sugar Shane Mosley, a fighter who is the linear welterweight champion, a hungry and motivated fighter. A desperate fighter who is looking for one last chance to seal his position as an all-time great. A fighter who lets face it has a real chance to defeat Mayweather. And because of pride or fear or whatever, Manny Pacquiao blows the greatest opportunity in boxing, a chance to defeat Floyd Mayweather. Now if Shane Mosley pulls it off the opportunity is gone forever. Boy did Camp Pacquiao drop the ball this time. Thoughts!!:-(
You might be right, good way of looking at it. If Shane beats floyd, pacquiao loses 40 million dollars.
I think you are looking at it from slightly the wrong angle. If Mosley beats Mayweather (unlikely IMHO) Pacquiao will have an even better chance at getting Mayweather in the ring, because Mayweather won't have nearly the negotiating power that he does right now. Will it be for less money though? Youbetcha.
floyd got a rematch clause cause he knows shane will fight pac in a minute without stupid stipulations and trash, would be done in no time
I just don't see how Manny can be insulted by being asked for extra test when he himself is having his own countrymen tested for his weight loss thing he's doing. Does he not trust his own people?
If Mosley wins, Pac/PBF becomes a moot point. Shane/Pac would be the fight to make(although I'm not sure Pac takes that one either)!
perhaps, but the ideal moment if it were me, would be me being the first to KNOCKOUT Floyd Mayweather. Not bait him in the ring with politically B.S.
Mayweather beats Mosley and Pac-Mayweather inevitably comes to fruition sometime down the road. Pac blew nothing.
