Seriously. Pacquiao fought Marquez 4X, a guy who is his worst stylistic nightmare, one of the greatest counter punchers of all time, and was

for 2 of their 4 fights. Floyd wouldn't even let Marcos "Son of Devon" wear his preferred gloves, nevermind fighting a juiced-to-gills version.

People are now saying he's ducking Terence Crawford? Say what?! Crawford had his chance to EXPLODE ON THE SCENE and CAPTURE THE IMAGINATION OF THE MASSES, but he twinkled like a little star with his performance against Postol that stunk up the joint and sold only 50K PPV. Jessie was chosen because 1) he's Mexican and will come to fight and 2) he's a belt holder (becoming a champion again is important to Pacquiao not only for pride, but leverage).

Pacquiao fought Barrera (2X), Marquez (4X,

). That's about as stacked as a resume there is for an active fighter. Pacquiao is old AF and really could end his career fighting bums like Berto and Malignaggi and you couldn't fault him.

I think Pacquiao-Crawford happens next year if a Mayweather rematch doesn't happen and a fight w/ Cherry Garcia or Broner also fails to materialize. A faded, semi-shot Pacquiao beats Crawford (sorry, Yuriorkis Microboa had Terence OUT ON HIS FEET). Also, people ignore the fact that Team Crawford aren't even actively calling out Manny Pacquiao. They never pursued Pacquiao. Period! The one time they did, they said that it would have to be at 140 (but they'll happily fight Cherry at 147).

I do not think he is ducking Terrence. He just need a tune-up fight after the surgery and short retirement.
I did not like this fight in the beginning but now I don't blame Pacman. Hope he gets good rounds in prep for his next better match.

Honestly, he could taken the fight back in 2010 when Pac was at his Prime, take the sh*ty blood test and they are on equal ground.

Roach says Crawford is a dangerous fight for Manny.

no boxer can fight all challengers unless there is no money involved and there is only one boxing organization. pacquiao also ducked some legit challenges especially so that he jumped weight classes. it's better to stick with one weight class and ducking can be avoided.

That's one of the most pathetically bias threads, EVER. You conveniently claim Jmm and fmj were roided with zero evidence. So since you claim by far the top 2 opponents on his resume clearly proved to be much greater h2h and with fmj just better in general.

One could say pac was juicing from 2004 till 2010, his last stoppage. I can't remember what year but he looks more guilty than both Jmm and especially fmj in going from TKO machine to a complete non puncher, non attacking PEDless average Joe, go figure

    Pac one of the GOATs.
He was not meant to succeed. He has so many chapters to his career. Based on losing to Torrecampo and fighting on the Philippines national level, he was not the guy who was seen to have a great chance to become champion - he all of a sudden wins the Lineal Flyweight World Championship against an amazing opponent.
He takes a knock by losing to a contender in Singsurat. It makes you feel that he wasn't meant to be a notable champion.
Once he gets to America, he secures a title in the weight class that is 5th from where he started, against the heavily ducked Lehwaba.
He then goes onto beat ATG's and have an equal rivalry with an ATG who happens to be an ultimate stylistic threat.
All of a sudden, he's rising up to the 8th, 9th, 10th weight class from where he started and has become an ATG Welterweight from his legacy in his late career even though he's not the man he once was. He was fighting ATG's who are seen by many, as roided to the gills i.e Marquez 4 and Mayweather.

Manny Pacquiao should have been stomped out of boxing by the Lightweights and surely a true failure at Light Welterweight.

I heard from good authority that Pacquiao ducked a sinkful of dirty dishes once. Hey don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger.

He should've ducked that punch at the end of the 6th in Marquez 4.

I don't believe in all this "ducking" nonsense but Paul Williams wanted to fight Pac and Top Rank ignored him.

Dude was the epitome of weight cutter that stood 6'1. WTF how's that work out to a 5'6 man?

Don't be a moron. JMM hired and lied about Memo Heredia, blew up in size (he looks ridiculously like a caricature in III and IV with the added muscle), and started really punching with thunderous force. Floyd the Roid received 750 ml of IV fluids, a

, and was given a TUE by USADA, whom he paid $150,000 for testing instead of the standard $35,000-$40,000. JMM and Floyd the Roid BOTH DUCKED VADA, which has been catching dudes left and right! Don't be a moron!

Antonio Margarito could have EASILY been a TKO victory, but the ref was sadistic.

Chris Algieri was out on his feet when Pac was finishing him off, but the ref pushed Pac away during an assault for NO REASON. Even Pac thought the fight had been stopped.

Pac was on the verge of stopping JMM.

Clottey and Bradley are both unKOable and Pac stunned and hurt Floyd twice.

lol When was Pac on the verge of stopping Marquez. About thirty seconds before Marquez knocked Pac out cold? This is why people have problems with some Pac fans.
