    I get what you're saying, but Charles' $130, 000 purse vs Marciano was a huge outlier too. One thing is sure though, PPV, Marketing, salesman ect. have made it so people make more money in boxing (obviously a good thing) but that means they don't have to fight as much.

    Manny is the Barry Bonds of boxing,,Bonds was a great player who steroided his career into the clouds. Manny was a very good fighter who couldn't have had great success over 135 without the juice

    Only thing you could knock Duran for is No Mas. A true legend of the game and a Top 10 ATG. As for Pac, Pac is really a lightweight campaigning for close to a decade at 147 whereas Duran is taller and more thick set and had the mass to compete at 160 and above. It is physically impossible for Pac to even weigh 154 unless he is flat out fat and out of shape. And Pac weighing in at 160 would mean that he's fighting diabetes and has high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
