Manny Pacquiao (cotto Version) Vs. Roberto Duran (leonard I Version): Who Wins?

Manny will hold his own , win rnds and might hurt Duran . But nah hes not giving Duran an L .

Duran stops him late , Manny's heart and will to win will get him brutally stopped .

 

15 rounds Duran beats him. 12 rounds Pac has a shot.

it would probably look like pac vs morales 1, but a bit more savage.

 

Montreal Duran's performance is the best performance put on at welterweight. Duran had the speed, footwork, iron jaw, defense, stamina, and power to humble Pacquiao. Pacquiao would not know what he got himself into. Pacquiao would MAYBE beat the slower, inconsistent 154lbs version of Duran, but definitely not Montreal Duran.

 

Pacquiao doesn't have the chin to handle Duran's power. Both would try to mix it up in an action packed slugfest for the ages and we've seen Pacquiao get the short end of the straw a couple of times trying that. Also, Duran is the somewhat better more complete fighter. He's just got everything Pacquiao has and more. Maybe, Pacquiao is a little faster.

 

Now thats a fight I would had paid anything to see. What a fight....IMHO, Duran stops Pacquiao late in the fight. Like the poster above me mentioned during the times when he slugged it out in the middle of the ring, it seem like Pacquiao got tagged at the end but managed to survived. Duran in the other hand would always be the one tagging at the end. Also the fight would come to who has the biggest heart that night to leave it all in the ring for the respective countries as both guys were idols in their countries.

 

I dont think I have seen any other fighter transform literally in the ring into a madman other than duran. This guy looked like he ate kittens and stangled puppies. throw everything out the window duran snaps mentally and kills the pac man.

 

Pac would just be too much of everything like he was for Cotto, Duran would be eating combos while trying to trade and eventually it would be stopped late in the fight with Pac on a shut out.

 

Well he would violently throw them against the wall in an effort to kill them, such was his hatred. No joke lol

 

This fight would have to be at 140. Manny's weakness is fighting inside, which is Duran's office. As much as I admire what Manny achieved as a fighter, I don't see how he could keep Duran off him. Duran stops him.

 

Manny and Duran have a lot of the same qualities and physical gifts. The difference being Duran had those gifts in a larger body. I would love to see the fight but I think when the championship rounds roll by Manny will be trying to survive.

 

So you believe these fighters had Duran's inside fighting skills? How about watching the Ken Buchanan fight? Cotto is not skilled in the inside. Witness his almost getting knocked out by Floyd of all people when he pressured him inside in the late rounds. Hatton was a hopeless clown. Margarito was a wide punching slow footed zombie. Still, the one time he got off a body shot on Manny he almost knocked him out. Bradley is not an inside fighter and anyway could not punch through a wet paper bag. Rios is an inside fighter. But witness how Manny spun out every time Rios tried to go to his body, and how easy it was. Seriously, are you really Super Hans?
