Look at Roman Gonzalez. Dude is kinda big for Super Flyweight, but looked fat at Bantamweight. And he's an elite fighter with elite level talent.

But we know the only reason it isn't impressive to you is because of your dislike for Pac.

Has Manny beat anyone as good as GGG though?

The champs at the time at those two weights were nowhee near Roman`s level, if Mnny could have fought champs at those weights as good as Roman then the then weight thing would be an achievement.

Without the magic juice Manny would have topped out at 130 -135 pounds . When an aging Morales busted him up in the first fight that was how far he could naturally go.

I think we have to say Manny has beaten better fighters than GGG albeit at lower weights.

I think you are going to far to say Canelo is not a true champion at 160 pounds. I think you have a more legitimate argument for this at 168 because it was the WBA Regular title he won. At 175 Kovalev was a recognized world champion who though faded was still a recognized champion. I thought it was a poor performance by Canelo really but he did close the show.

Pacquiao's achievements through the weight classes are quite simply phenomenal.

What's even more amazing is that the guy really has no business being at 147 (let alone being aged 40+), he could still fight at 135. He takes on guys in that weight class who are boiling down from 170/180 and still handles them no problem.

Him and Mayweather are two of the best ever.

On what planet is Roman Gonzalez a big Super-Flyweight?

MAB, JMM, Morales, Cotto, arguably Hatton as Hatton has a better resume at JWW than GGG at MW, Bradley.

All of those guys are clearly better than 1-dimensional GGG who has a very shallow resume and would rank higher as ATGs.

It always baffled me why Manny didn't try and tempt Roid into a ring with him when the later was the champ at 175 because I'm extremely confident he would've knocked him the **** out had he been able to do so. The only reason Roid was able to beat all those featherfisted postmen, retired dog trainers and drag queens he feasted on throughout his prime years is because he was a lot faster than them and obviously juiced to high heaven. However, I feel Manny's speed of hand and foot and lateral movement would've caused him nightmares and no one in their right mind is going to try and argue that Manny didn't possess the power to shatter that disgusting old lady glass jaw of his.
