Mind games as they stated before. They BOTH were looking to get the other side out of their comfort zone immediately before the fight. Great performance by PAC. I don't see anyone bringing up excuses like a "REHYDRATION CLAUSE"....."Weight drained" or 'Shot" excuses yet. PAC's truly the best boxer without question at the moment. Even to those who chose to give that respect to Floyd. He's a distant 2nd now,.

Wrong......in the dressing room a fighter can drink anything he damn wishes as long its not on the banned substance list.......if Margarito wants to have coffee, tea, or his own ****ing urine, thats up to him......


What a fighter takes to the ring with him to drink inbetween rounds is a different matter. In the ring between rounds you can only have water, and from what I understand in some states, Gatorade or Pediolytes are allowed.


Emmanuel Steward was dead wrong stating Margarito could not take anything in his dressing room other than water........thats for during the fight, not before.:deal

 

You're getting carried away......arguably Pac can be said is the best fighter, but certainly he is not the best boxer.

Shane Mosley landed at will and knocked out Margarito.

That same Shane Mosley could'nt lay a hand on Mayweather past the 2nd round.

.....trying to punch at Mayweather jr is totally different than punching at Margarito.

We already knew that Margarito was going to be there to hit, it was just a matter of if Pac could take Margarito's shots and not wilt.

Mayweater however does'nt lend himself to get hit.........so against Mayweather now, its a question of what types of adjustments can Pacquiao make as he's coming foward unable to find and hit Mayweather???

its a stimulant...increases your metabolism, and amps u up. It used to contain ephedra until the fda banned ephedra as an otc supplement. Hydroxycut sold in the USA does not contain ephedra. Nonetheless it makes you lose weight because it nakes you more active and energized. in that sense you can argue it is a performance enhancer.

 

What states are you allowed to drink Gatorade or propel in between rounds? I'm genuinely curious.

 

Legal or not, this show what desperate measures some take in this sport. Margarito will take the risk and little by little we will know the truth. At 165 you should've stop Manny, you didn't even drop him or cut him up... I wonder why

 

That being said, coffee doesn't exactly sound like a good idea.

 

It depends on how your body reacts to it, but caffeine has been proven as an effective performance enhancer. The only downside is that it may raise and keep your heart rate too high.
