Andre Ward rises four spots from No. 6 to No. 2 with his spectacular TKO victory over Chad Dawson, who drops out of the ratings from No. 12. The shake-up means Manny Pacquiao, Sergio Martinez and Nonito Donaire each drop one spot. Dawson's departure elevates Orlando Salido, Abner Mares and Carl Froch one rung -- and enables 47-year-old Bernard Hopkins to rejoin the list at No. 15.

It's only going to be downhill from here for Manny

If Martinez beats Chavez Jr in dominating fashion then Manny will be pushed down to #4

And if Donaire beats his opponent in a brilliant way then Manny could end up falling to #5

Ward should really be # 1

I mean who else has his resume ? All his wins came against the best guys in their prime .Should there be any debate really ?

Ward should be ranked over Manny easily....If Martinez destroys Chavez he should be at #3

  6. At this point Ward should be above Manny and Floyd.

Nah it's still Mayweather at #1, you just need to compare their last 5 victories for it to all makes sense.

Cotto (Floyd moved up in weight) = Dawson (coming down in weight)

    Ortiz < Froch

    Mosley > Abraham

    JMM > Green

    Hatton < Kessler

    De La Hoya > Miranda

Floyd hasn't fallen off so don't agree with some of the people here saying that Ward should be #1

Floyd is still winning in dominant fashion

If he however cherry picks his next fight, or loses, retires then certainly there's room for Ward up top

But until then Mayweather is #1

  14. Negative, fighting a post prime, post plaster beatdown version of Cotto does nothing for me. Ward is #1.

This clown is obsessed with Pacquiao.

Spends his entire day looking for negative things about Pac.

And then comes running here to start threads about it.

And this dude has the nerve to complain about *******s.

You're much worse then them you're like in a zombie like Cult that devotes their all life to worship a woman beater and hate on whoever is his main rival.
