Manny Pacquiao fighting for a title in his EIGHTH DIVISION! *What's the CATCH??*

#1......I sure there isn't a person out there boxing pro today who holds titles at MW and Super MW....so who ever you are trying to bring up as a potential match up for Manny fighting at a "Catch weight" for not one but TWO titles.....That's a bit funny b/c it's impossible. You high right?:rasta it's all good if you are....

 

Martinez gave up his JrMW belts. Manny would have skipped a weight class.

 

You don't need someone to hold both, just one, I'm sure one of the other orgs would allow manny to fight for their vacant 160 title.

 

This ain't about catch weights. This is about using promotional clout to rig boxing history.

How do you take an undeserving WW who was never really successful at 154, who can't get a license in the US, who got caught cheating and got KTFO and a WW who wouldn't face any other legit 154 pounder even at a catchweight and put them in a title eliminator?

It is a prime example of everything WRONG with boxing. Promoters just running the sport through the mud and distorting boxing history.

 

Nah......it's too much of a weight difference and more along the lines of a super WW fight than a Super MW fight. 1 pound vs 13 pounds is a HUGE gap and there's not way anyone would go for that. Sure there are fanatics who would say Manny is king at 168 if that did happen but the same would go with some Floyd fanatics if he fougth Bute at 155 for a 168 title. Most would call it bull **** and some would say he's legit at 168. Those kinds of fans are far and few in between.

 

He should of fought him before he did.

Martinez at 152 ain't a bad fight.....I think Sergio could make that weight comfortably.....but it would be impossible to fight for two belts in two differnt divisions in one fight. Just not possible.

Of course they'd allow Manny to fight if he was seriously making a run at it....how could then deny him given his track record. But if you said Manny could fight for TWO titles in TWO seperate classes it would be impossible to see Manny grabbing two titles in one fight....which is why I was asking if you were blazed.
