Manny Pacquiao: "(Floyd Mayweather) is not a good example for everybody"

I used to love Manny. I loved that he was a family man, and a man of faith. However as the years have passed, Manny has proven to be a lot shadier than I thought. He has had multiple affairs, he has a child from one of his affairs, he has become a trash talker, he's cocky, judgmental, and I question his credibility due to the numerous excuses that he and his team make/made for fights lost, and fights yet to happen. Manny's opponent selection and fight demands have turned me off as well. The worst part IMO is the use of his faith (or the attempted use of his faith) to sell him to the public, and to try and excuse the shady crap that he pulls (FMJ negotiations).

FMJ has never hidden who he is. In fact, I think that he plays up the bad guy side of his personality to sell tickets, while the good guy side remains mostly hidden.

I don't like being lied to. With FMJ I feel like I know where I stand, however with Manny, he's two-faced and I don't appreciate that. Manny puts on this Christian hat and family jacket, runs around smiling and acting like Mr. Nice Guy, but educated fans know the truth. If "liars go to hell" as Manny so boldly judged, then I guess there's a seat there with his name on it.

 

A fighter that runs weak excuses left and right on why he cant be bothered to be randomly tested for PED's, I'm sure is a great example to all!:deal

Floyd was awesome on Dancing with the Stars and in certain interviews. He mostly plays the bad guy, but I think that there's a good side to him too. If to you bandeedo Floyd is the epitome of evil that's cool too. At least you know what you're getting.

I'd take an ******* braggart to my face, over a 2 faced liar playing a role any day.

People will like who they like the fact is no one knows anything about these fighters personally. Everyone gets so caught up in supporting "their guy"

I like both as fighters, both could be role models there is no problem with Floyd working hard and then being flashy as he says he is the **** talker in the sport someone has got to do it. He talks alot of **** but he backs it up! He looks after his kids and his family what more do you want?

I've said it before and I'll say it again if he wasnt like this he would be just another fighter, in the league of Bhop, RJJ etc those dudes are great fighters but never PPV attractions! Fact!

The reason it is canceled is already known in Mayweather`s pattern of
avoiding real challenges.

 

Who says he would not take the test ?
He would take any test imposed by the authority of boxing.

 

DLH did not need to be as arrogant as Mayweather to be one of the
biggest PPvs seller.

Those are the only three above him in ALL TIME PPV revenue and they all have had more fights....i'd say Floyd has done his job!:good

Also im not sure DLH is as succesful without bein of Mexican decent.
