That's because he was promoted well and had the looks to carry him through it. He attracted more female viewers than male viewers and to each female you get 10 losers standing behind her carrying her bags these days so you get the idea.

 

It's not only for being Mexican, Morales and Barrera were Mexican too. DLH's Gold medal played a major role and Bob Arum made sure his picture is on every poster placed well enough to attracts the girls which they did and the connections he got from it all adds up. Not to say Morales and Barrera are ugly or any of that, hell no but they weren't promoted that way nor did they have a Gold medal which is a HUGE boost. DLH was the first Mexican boxing gold medalist since who?, that adds up big time as well. The right combination was there and DLH being entertaining and exciting in the ring added a lot more than they needed.

manny still deliberately chooses to do good, respect others and work hard, I'd say thats way better than someone like pbf who has nothing good to offer at all outside the ring. all he does is talk trash about others and glorifies himself and money. he's just lucky he's got great boxing skills, oherwise he would have been a complete **** of a human being whom no one would care about.

 

As a boxing fan Manny is the fighter you want to watch becase he brings it Floyd is the guy you want to see lose .
