of course I give a **** which is why i've got like 1000 posts on the subject.

I don't give a **** about a fighter's personality if it has no impact on his performances in the ring.

This is true for you, however most boxing fans don't feel that way. We want a fighter that we can like. We want someone that we can back in and out of the ring. Every week on here somebody is posting another Superman and/or Hail Manny story because there are thousands of casual fans that buy into that crap. Manny's machine tries to force an image down our throats and yet educated fans can see through it, and choose to turn their backs on the little liar. If you don't mind being lied to, enjoy the hype. Please ignore the laundry list of (often contradictory) excuses why Manny loses fights, or won't take a fight. Please, feel free to sign off on the catchweights, stipulatiosn, and the specially selected opponents. Watch him on 24/7 praying and going to church when he mistress is waiting for him at the hotel in Vegas. Ignore his wife crying at Thanksgiving because he is tearing their family apart, but start a new thread to champion the clown because of his latest sound byte about family.

Floyd is a jerk. Personally I would love to meet the guy, but I don't know if it would be a pleasant experience because there is no telling which mode Floyd would be in. Like me, Floyd has different sides to his personality and there is no hiding that. The man handed out turkeys and food to the less fortunate, and then gambled with thousands of dollars playing dice on (one of) his pool tables, possibly in the same episode. However we saw both sides of this guy. We know the good and the bad. How would you like it if all GBP and Mayweather released to the media were the turkey handouts and charity events? How would you react if they showed Floyd in church and said he was a man of God, when you knew that he was out with Diddy the night before making it rain and showering some young, exotic dancer with champagne?

If you Manny fans enjoy being lied to, not just about PEDs and fight negotiation, but about the very man you support, please continue to eat this crap up.

first of all, I don't feel I'm being lied to, since I don't care about that stuff anyways. Those kind of cinderella church stories are directed at those who do. Secondly, I am not in a position to question any man's faith, regardless of his suposed transgressions, and that goes for both Pac and Floyd. Third, I didn't mind being showed the PBF food donation charity events at all. If anything I enjoyed seeing the guy play around with his family at home but its not gonna make me any more or less of a fan of him as a boxer. Fourth, if you guys are gonna believe someone is using PED's because you dislike the way he's being marketed to you, that's your prerogative, but I find that pathetic. Fifth, its none of our business who Pac or Floyd pray to, ****, or how they spend their money. And I don't see why it would be.

The only thing I like about a fighter who has a devout faith in God is that I believe it gives him a certain edge in the sport. And thats even though I don't believe in God myself.

Anyone with a dick and balls can see through Manny pacaroids bull****. He is a fake ass individual that is full of ****. He can run his game on gullible little girls or girlydudes(pac trannies) but you cant run game on a grown man. He is a just like anybody else and there is no doubt in my mind that it is possible and more than likely that he is cheating and Arum got his back as he did all his past cheating fighters that had the same "good guy" image.

Mayweather's had his run-ins with the law and often acts like a jackass and Pacquiao is a married, religious man who's known to screw anything that moves.

Whatever, they're both great boxers. Charles Barkley was right. Athletes should really not be role models.

    LOL. Constant trash-talking?

Where the **** did that come from? He's being asked questions about how he feels on certain said subjects. Mayweather's the first fighter he's ever really "trash-talked" and its mostly from defending himself. He's not asked about the shoes he's wearing then somehow, some way, finds a way to bring up Mayweather into the conversation.

The man's religious and has had his ****ups. Just because Floyd's a dick and shows his "good side" for a 2 minute clip on a 24/7 episode doesn't mean that he's real or genuine about how much of a ***** he is. Truth is nobody here knows any of these guys personally. You watch a 24/7 clip of Floyd handing out turkeys and now you know the guy is sincere and a humanitarian? Get the **** out of here. Floyd thanks God after his fights and at his press conference and claims "God" blesses him with his talent and ability, yet it's different for Manny because he openly prays before his fights and has clips of him attending mass, so he's more vulnerable to more stringent criticisms for his transgressions?

Don't give me no bulll**** about "specifically picked opponents". It happens in boxing. Sadly, it's become the norm for protecting young up-and-coming fighters and veterans alike. Floyd has done it as many times, if not more than Manny. The difference between their handpickings? At least Manny or his team picks fighters who are naturally bigger and in higher weight-classes that actually pose a threat to him. Compare the two paths that the fighters have been on. Mark off how many "could-have fought fighters" that Mayweather has had until now. Now do the same for Manny. Now tell me which fighter's list is longer and compare the two lists that have been "dodged, ducked, avoided" for whatever reason.

All in all, is Manny a good role model? Probably not. When it comes to hard work and humble beginnings, then yea he probably is a role model in that sense. With all the other bull**** about his marital affairs, probably not a good example of a family man. But if we're talking about being a better example, you want to say that openly being an *******, questioning one's integrity without a shred of evidence, being part of a family riddled with drug trafficking, gambling addictions, and women beating is a far better alternative? If so, point for Team and Family Mayweather. :happy
