You won't see the level of skilled boxing, you will see the same level of overall skill as an MMA fighter or specific skill like BJJ.
Because their jab is so dominant. Think about it. The Klits dismantle guys with a LONG jab and a laser like straight when fatigue sets in. Mind you a jab turns into a MONSTER shot in a 4 oz glove. As for mobility? Honestly? You are right, but they are a bit old. We are talking "fantasy" so I am thinking "prime". I also agree about the center of balance. That is why I said a touch shorter, however a skilled tall guy actually has an advantage on dodging a shoot if he is ONLY jabbing. If you don't over extend you can step out and/or spin your heel free. A guy catches you after a straight you are toast.
No...you not with the hands..hell i was looking at old 24 / 7 from Pac Hatton of the them doing mitts..and of course pac is much more impressive..but **** hatton was faster and more impressive then anyone i have ever seen from mma due punch mitts....of course mitts are mitts..but it does tell you about speed.
I think klits are pretty damn mobile..its hard as hell to get close to either one of them. Wlad is at his prime..he moves in and out great....Vitali is a bit older and slower..but he still moves in and out with no few issues..not saying they would do great in mma right now..just saying they are mobile.
I agree. They have great movement. Doubly so for men their size. Also, they will be fighting hulks of men themselves. But hey I can say they have slowed a bit. Seriously if a boxer said, The ONLY punch they are throwing is a jab and they are using feints? I don't think the Klits "mobility" would be an issue. The distance to change levels, shoot, and drive through would be too far. Those legs cover 6-10 feet with a good step.
Yup...to a degree...and when you start getting fighters that start MMA training when they are 9 years old (instead of one single discipline) you will get the same WOW factor you see in boxing. The champs they have right now in the UFC are very respectable fighters and impressive to watch....but I still believe that you can't see the same level of perfection anywhere other then the boxing ring...personal preference.
you mean you get sick of seeing roundhouse throws continuously from a 'world class' striker too? jack of all trades or not I still can't figure out how most mma fighters can't throw straight punches.
