Manny Pacquiao Has a Considerable Mental Edge Over Floyd Mayweather Junior...

Throughout his storied career, Manny has consistently and reliably shown one side of himself — that of a tremendously confident fighter who genuinely loves and enjoys boxing and isn't bothered by trash talk. The most smack talking he has ever done is saying Bradley would run once he got hit and that Floyd is ducking him.

    How mentally strong is Manny?

    • Fought JMM, who is a stylistic NIGHTMARE for him, 2 more times knowing that JMM is roided out of his skull

    • Chased JMM for a fifth match immediately after his KO loss, even going as far as offering to fight him in Mexico City

    • Didn't give 2 flying ****s that Ariza took his ass to Garcia's camp and doesn't give 2 flying ****s that Ariza is now Floyd's camp

    • After KO6, cried on TV not because he lost, but because he felt like he let his countrymen down; he's able to truly embrace defeat to become better

Floyd is known for his pre-fight intimidation tactics, but outside of this, there is a large number of videos of Floyd going on embarrassing rants about Manny. Manny has consumed him for over half decade and his numerous freak out sessions are evidence of this. On top of all of this, Floyd clearly demonstrates a desire to prove to everyone he is the alpha male, but fails every single time. He was clowned on the red carpet by 50 and despite being surrounded by and having 20 strippers twerking in a video, no one actually believes Floyd is into women.

But the most compelling case against Floyd being mentally weak can be witnessed in the Maidana fights:

    • Floyd's 2nd round ring corner hip hop dance move after round 2 of their first fight (you're dancing? Maidana just beat on you!)

    • Floyd shamelessly pulled an Adrien Broner when he pretended that Maidana bit him and all but begged Bayless to have Maidana disqualified

    • Floyd actually tried to touch gloves with Maidana after Maidana deliberately and blatantly punched him in the family jewels during non-action when Weeks was trying to separate them
Floyd will come face to face with his greatest fear. The man he'd run from for years and is now finally facing him because the fight was forced. Floyd only committed a signature to the contract because he believes Manny is too far gone. Floyd better hope this is the case, or his world is gonna end on May 2nd.

We'll see on the night of the fight, but I can see Pacquiao becoming frustrated and befuddled in the ring as I've seen him before at times against lesser comp (Marquez and Bradley). I don't think there's any real debate as to who is the smarter fighter here (Mayweather).

Manny doesn't even make adjustments in fights he's having problems in. He just keeps doing the same ****ing thing. LOL

You couldn't have possibly made that post without quoting that whole pile of ****?

  7. Floyd is the smarter fighter, but not by a considerable margin. His physical attributes (arm length), size, defense, and STYLE sets him up favorably against slow, conventional fighters that come forward in a straight line (there's a video out there with Floyd explaining why these are the very reasons he cherrypicked Guerrero).

I'm talking about confidence. There's a reason Floyd relies on so many antics outside of the ring to build his confidence. Floyd needs a fight to be stacked completely in his favor (gloves, ring size, referree).

And as I pointed out, Floyd showed quit in the Maidana fights.

  8. Typical issues of reading comprehension showing up from the Floyd fans.

Mental toughness is not the same as ring intelligence.

    Toughness doesn't win fights.

This fight isn't stacked completely in his favor. Pacquiao is wearing the gloves of his choice and we don't even know who the ref is yet, and Mayweather isn't the one who has used gloves, socks, blood tests weakening him, leg cramps, malnutrition, etc as excuses for poor performances and losses in the past.

... And if you think Pacquiao's ring IQ is anywhere near Mayweather's, you're just a moron.

I don't have an alt account unlike you. I've been busy and haven't logged on here for a while, and I can see this forum has continued to devolve in my absence.

Mayweather is gonna beat blisters on Pac's face. Pac got a big face and he can't miss it. He's gonna have Pac's face so busted up that people are gonna think his face was used in a pumpkin smashing contest.

Floyd lets out a pathetic little ho squeal...

Then oversells it in hopes that the fight is stopped...

Just like Lil Bro, Floyd tried to oversell a non-existent bite in hopes of getting the fight stopped...

    [yt]TccV-YIy8MI[/yt]

Broner didn't let out a ho squeal, though...

Listen to the comments... "Mayweather would never do that! But then again, maybe Mayweather WOULD do something like that!"

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
