The only thing that is preventing me from outright picking Pac to beat Spence is the 2 year layoff.

The styles matchup favors Pac and no one's come to him like that since the Margarito fight. If Spence goes to war, he's gonna get hurt or dropped. Maybe Pac can finish him.

I think that this will be the most motivated Pac has ever been for a fight. He knows that a win over Spence will boost his popularity in his presidential run. And becoming president trumps even him earning GOAT status.

Would be cool to see him win, but I think Spence wins easily.

He has the best chance of any 43 year old I've ever seen of beating a 31 year old p4per four inches taller than him.

Pac's best days are behind him, and, sadly, his chances of beating the prime 147lber of the day are diminished.

I think Pac has a better chance than anyone else Spence has fought of beating him, simply because he is well, Pac. But he is 42 and coming off a long lay off, I think he will have success but won't be able to sustain it.

Pac will use his superior footwork to use angles and keep Spence's offence subdued, he'll counter Spence and may even make Spence look bad at times. But he won't be able to sustain it, he'll slow and Spence will then take over.

I look at his 2 year layoff as a recovery period for an aging fighter. We saw that in Donaire, he said that the long layoff made his body recover.
It might help Pacman's body recover which can be a plus....

I pick him UD with possible KDs scored in the mid rounds.

Betting purely with my wallet, I wouldn’t even take a 1/2 odds on Spence, yet alone 1/4.

I’d take a 1/1 so I guess I see it as even odds with slight lean to Spence.

I can’t count out Pac showing up fit for 12 rounds, if he does, he beats Spence in a firefight.

42 going on 43 is very old for a natural 140 pounder. Even if you put the weight class as 147 into the age-weight class converter it coverts to 54 years old, but if you do 140 it converts to 58

And then you have to factor in how many fights and wars Manny has been in, how long he's been boxing, his quality of opposition and the two years inactivity on top

    72 fights
    Many wars
    Boxing 30 years
    A + competition

Let me just put that through the converter

That comes out at 77 years of age

So to all intents and purposes Spence who is way bigger, longer, heavier, younger and fresher than Manny is fighting a 77 y/o man
