when pac retires for good by 2010, and PBF retires also, a generation of exciting fighters will come to pass. dlh, mosley, the quartet of mab, em, pac and probably soon who will carry the torch?

hatton is obviously low market wise right now and should retire in a year or too. cotto is now being accusd of shot after just one defeat.

the HW are a bit boring with the klits lording it over, other than blown up cruiserweight haye, this weight class is devoid of excitement.

people just don't realize that with the passing of this generation, we will see an end of a glorious era in boxing from middleweight down. HW have been in the doldrums for half a decade in my opinion.

mexico aint producing a troika of greats soon, PR only has juanma as its bright star. Philippines only has donaire as an established star.

in effect, we will be faced with a sea of mediocrity and middling talent sprinkled with a few star from heavies down to the lower weights.

lets enjoy the show everyone. stop the hating, but we do not need loving, lets have more fights.

PBF vs. Mosley vs. Cotto vs. Williams
Pac vs. Cotto vs. JMM vs. PBF.

    lets enjoy the ride.

If one of the very best to ever lace up = ATG, then I don't see why some anyone would disagree, even if he retires right now he's definitely an ATG.

Pacquiao was around 23 and 24 years old when he moved up to fight Barerra at featherweight. You can clearly see that Barerra was the bigger guy in the ring too. It will be a very long time until we see another fighter that will jump that many weight classes.

Holy Smokes.. What are you smoking? whatever it is, stop it brotha. JMM is overrated. He's not even worthy to be a HOF.

    notable wins.

barrera- almost on top of the hill
casamayor- way over the hill (loss to sta.cruz imo)
    diaz- overrated bum

Pacquiao was working at a scrap yard when he was 16, he was no feathweight then.

With the level of competition and display of heart, clearly PAC is one of the greatest ever to have laced 'em up.

Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter who has been a joy to watch over the last 5-6 years.

When he retires I'll definitly buy a career collection, BUT....

Isn't it sad that he has the most annoyning fans of all time? To them Manny IS their life. They wake up thinking about Manny, they have a quick wank in the shower whilst thinking about Manny, they say hello to their 2 Children, Manny and Manny II, and feed their dog, Manny. They go to work and spend all day on Eastside talking about Manny, come home and watch a Manny fight and then give the wife a good seeing to whilst wishing it was Manny. Finally they fall asleep and dream about Manny and the whole process starts again...

    Get a life!
