I think Kostya knocks Pacquiao out.

Pacman, throughout every stage of his career could not avoid the counter right hand.

Kostya will land his right hand repeatedly and one of them scores a ko.

Tszyu often gets a lot of praise heaped on him, despite lacking comparatively in overall achievement. That said, I understand why he is highly regarded, by some, which stems primarily, I think, from him sending an undefeated Zab Judah reeling, inside of two rounds. Tszyu looked a bit formidable in and around the time of that fight.

Despite Pacquiao being on fire in 2009, I think the version of Hatton he faced is somewhat of a different prospect to that of a 2001 Tszyu. But, Pacquiao would go on to batter Cotto, later the same year, which gives rise to a speculation that he might have handled Tszyu with little problem. Pacquiao was packing dynamite in those fists of his, at the time, and seemed comfortable competing with the bigger guys.

However, to my mind, Tszyu was a great offensive fighter - perhaps on a par with Pacquiao - but perhaps also a more clinical practitioner. A natural 140lb'er; immensely strong at the weight; heavy-handed and fast on either the initiation of an offensive or on the counter-offensive. Almost always seemed to me to have a good sense of distance and timing, to boot.

Yeah - I just talked myself into a Tszyu victory, here. Pacquiao could land his Sunday punch, but my money is on the stronger offense of Tszyu raining all kinds of hell on the Pac Man, with a solid connect on Pacquiao's chin, to end the fight, feeling like an inevitability.

    Tszyu Wins by KO6.

I think Pacquaio is too fast for Tyszu. Tyszu's right hand keeps Pacquaio honest and gives him a good deal of success. Could he land it enough or big enough to win? Possibly. Pacquaio's supposed prime was against slow left hookers without much of a right hand.

That's the wrong version of Tszyu to use, but I don't think any Tszyu beats the 09 Pac.

Tszyu was already fading by time he fought Judah. He was noticeably slower by that point than he was in the late 90s.

You should use the Tszyu who beat Jan Bergman to give him his best chance against Pac, in all honesty.

I think Tszyu matured after the Phillips loss and the TKO10 victory over Miguel Gonzalez is probably his best performance, overall, in my opinion - a measured, clinical domination of his opponent; getting the job done inside the distance.

Tszyu looked very sharp in that one and I wouldn't say he'd discernibly lost a step, by 2001. Either way, it didn't stop him becoming the LWW Ring Champion, by the end of that year.
