Great matchup. IF, IF Taylor utilized his jab and movement, I could very well see him outboxing Pac. People nowadays have this perception of Taylor that he was just a speedy brawler, and it's a false. He had an excellent jab, and excellent footwork when he used it and if properly used I think he scores on Manny all night. If Mel let the Philly pride get to him and went to war, then Manny's firepower wins out in the end.
^^ I agree with all the above. But manny was an explosive package of weapons that I think would be too much for Taylor.. Meldrick was special for as long as the show lasted which was all but maybe 3 years at his best.. But PAC was a career long warrior with speed, stamina, power, skill and that extra bit of nastiness that only comes around once in a while... Taylor just wasn't cut out to be a proper rival for him the way that JMM was..
