If I were you, I would stop running.

Period. At least until the plantar fasciitis is resolved.

I would also stop skipping for a while.

To mitigate your symptoms and to prevent them in the future, I would deadlift or use kettlebell swings to condition your legs.

When the symptoms are resolved, you can run, but in my opinion, and many may disagree, running should be aerobic. It should be an enjoyable endeavor. Don't push yourself to the point to where you're always trying to beat records.

You can get away with training ***** to the wall when you're younger, but as you get older, you need to change the way you train. Younger athletes, despite being able to get away with things older athletes can't, should also follow suit.

    I agree 100%.

I also know what you're talking about. I've had the misfortunate of tearing a calf when running hills myself. Luckily, it wasn't a full tear and I was able to recover after a few weeks, but after it happened again, I had to rethink my training protocol.

O you mean in the fights he had a hard time in? He didn't seem to have cramps in the Rios, Chris and any other fight he did good in. Its funny, they haven't explained why his legs cramp, just that they do, not even doctors have a solution to it.

Just imagine if Floyd complained about leg cramps, you guys would eat him alive.

No excuses will be tolerated come fight night.

He didn't struggle against Bradley or Mosley... :tired

You mustn't have played any sports at any kind of level if you think cramps are uncommon. Why is it so hard for you to accept Pac gets cramps? You can guarantee Floyd gets them as well...

I did the research and I know when I'm wrong, however you shouldnt confuse a legit question with some of the pure idiotic responses and reasonings I've heard come from some Pacquiao fans. It's very easy to confuse a drug that has steriod attached to the end of it with steriods in general, doesn't make a person stupid for thinking that. Secondly I also asked the question, if the drug corticosteroid (if I thats what they are giving to Pacquiao) was completely harmless then they probably wouldn't have needed clearance from USADA. Now, do I think Team Pacquiao would be stupid enough to risk the biggest fight in boxing in the last 20-30 years by trying to cheat, I would hope not, but boxing in filled with unsavory characters.

Honestly, I don't doubt that he probably gets the cramps, but its been brought up every time he does poorly. Against Mosley he claimed his cramps didn't allow him to hunt down Mosley. And the fact that no one can figure out why is also questionable. But again, I honestly don't doubt he has them

Floyd has a bad hand, and he gets called pillow fist. Its known and confirmed that his hand is bad, yet he gets no break at all from the trolls. So my response is to the trolls. Cramps vs bad hand, call it even.

No excuses come may 2nd. Not from Floyd or pac.

I'm sorry bro, it was an honest question, and so many things I don't know about. I apologize for being an ass. I was being kinda gutless in going on about that.

Btw, my stance is they are both on gear and other stuff and have been for awhile now. Nth fighting for 180 and 140 million in their late 30s, I don't think boxing is different than any other major sport. Plus even a layman can pass the nsac standard test with the right know how. The randoms, and how to pass the synthetic testosterone test requires a specialist, but it can done, ala the cream and clear via memo which was undetectable.

Ohhhhhhhhkay guys. Don't listen to a word Freddie Roach says. All he is saying is mind games, as he's known for. He's the only one that said this **** and it's completely untrue.

Justin Fortune, his conditioning trainer, and the only "real" honest guy who tells it as it is, shot down the claim of serious leg cramps and 1,800$ cream.

Just, don't ever believe Freddie, like ever. He's already declared he wants to get into Floyd's head because he thinks Floyd is insecure, so if he says anything public, it's probably just for that reason.

Lol I love it. I was hoping this was the case. Freddie v's floyd on the mind games, who wins in this current scenario?

I hear ya. I've never come on to this website like I'm the be all tell, I only offer my opinion, and always appreciate, learning from others as well as expressing some of my own opinions. I actually learned something yesterday, and appreciate your breakdown of Anabolic vs Catabolic steroids, I actually looked up the difference between the two and one builds(anabolic) while the other tears down(catabolic) muscle and Corticosteroids certainly provide no physical advantages. Appreciate the breakdown.

It's not going to look good if Pac is getting paid 80 million dollars and cannot perform. No excuses...he signed the contract. His leg cramps are nothing new. The best thing to do is postpone the fight if he has a legitimate injury.
