But he is going to roll the dice and try his luck but he will find out that he has no chance once he sees the skill of mayweather.

Well there's no way hes going to KO Mayweather, when he hasn't ko'd anybody at ww. Apart from that mercy stoppage by the ref against Cotto.

So whats Pacqiauo going to do? Outbox Mayweather?

Mayweather would outbox Pac easy he is bigger and stronger and has a longer reach I just don't why people think this will be competitive he has a punchers chance and that's about it.

Most accusations thrown at Floyd actually are more relevant to Pacqiauo.

Hes had what, one stoppage in 6 years?

Hes made a career out of feasting on slow footed brawlers.

Hes been avoiding Mayweather for years, as soon as Floyd shows signs of vulnerability....the fight is signed immediately.

I am also a fan of pac i have to say you have gone a little to far pac has had a wonderful career and has fought the best like Floyd has.Part of the reason why Pac has not had a stoppage is because he has been fighting guys bigger than him with great chins.

I blame both Floyd and pac for the fight not happening.

Pacquiao definitely has the right stuff to give Mayweather trouble. The problem is he fights more in spots now, he lacked sharpness in Bradley II - this is what Mayweather spied and has been quoted on. He feels now that there's enough stop n' start in Manny's game to mould the rounds in his favour with cleaner work.

As a most basic rule, to force the boxer into error, to make him more cagey, Manny needs short-lived pauses between attacking, and that means he is going to have to train especially hard.

Im not knocking Pacqiauo im just highlighting the hypocrisy of some people.

Floyd hasn't had any Kos as of late, but when you look at how many times his opponents had been stopped at the time of fighting him, you'd see why.

Same goes for pac, I do give the power advantage to pac but that's about it.

Unfortunately Manny hasn't got a chance.
It'll be a dull, boring one sided UD win for Floyd.
This fight is actually bordering on a mismatch.

Its Lewis Tyson all over again.

    A joint Hbo Showtime venture.

Both men in their mid to late thirties.

The fight should have happened years ago.

The fast, explosive power puncher favoured to Ko the boring technical fighter.

I don't think pac is favoured to ko mayweather it would be a shock if that happens.

Floyd is seen as the favourite to win and for good reason

The Hagler idea is terrible. Hagler was on a seek and destroy mission to get inside Tommy's jab and crack that chin we all saw Leonard crack. Floyd's chin is iron. Also Manny does not like to fight inside. He fights from range moving in and out with speed.

The way to frustrate Floyd is using range, footwork and movement, workrate and pressure, power, speed and unorthodox angles, all skills that Manny already has. The training and adjustments Manny will have to make will be to avoid and exploit how Floyd will counter him. Floyd on the other hand will struggle with handling trading with someone on a level - with speed, power and stamina - he has never experienced before. Manny's speed and footwork aren't what they used to be, but they'll still be more than a challenge for an old man like Floyd who is getting his first experience of them.

There is no better coach for Manny in this fight than Roach.

Keys to win for Manny is to throw quick combos then move sideways. 1-2 right-left straight combo that will catch Floyd as he ducks and holds. That straight left will land more often then we think!

Ways Manny can hit Floyd would be behind the faint and countering Floyd's straight to the body and of course trading straights.

I think too many underestimate Pacquiao's versatility and skills. It's really surprising given this man has beaten so many great fighters. DLH gave Mayweather all he could handle whilst Pacman annihilated him; Cotto gave Mayweather problems whilst Pacman destroyed him. Of course, people bring up JMM but what can i say, this guy's style gives Pac trouble. Bradley is a world class fighter who fights similarly to Floyd, albeit not as good, and pac has sort of beat him handily twice.

Pacquiao is super fast with his feet and hands, can throw any punch and from angles most can't throw from effectively. The guy has underrated defense too and has faced many different styles, beaten them all. He has had a few hiccups due to his more risky approach to boxing but he has produced more impressive wins than Floyd too.

Pacquiao isn't some B grade fighter getting in the ring with a boxer he has no chance of beating. Floyd didn't quite dominate Maidana did he? Floyd will be an incredible challenge but Pacquiao definitely has the skills to beat him; it's a matter of using right tactics. Roach will be key. The way is see it that when they are both in front of each other, there is no clear advantage. This isn't Canelo, or Maidana..it's Pacquiao and Floyd will soon find out how fast and how hard he can punch. It will be very interesting to see what tactics both will utilize...

I disagree he has to use caveman Hagler tactic. This is what maidana pretty much tried no? but Maidana had no choice; Pacquiao is much more skilled and versatile. Shawn Porter has recently stated he thinks Pac is even more verstalite than Floyd. I don't necessarily agree with him but shows you that even fighters appreciate his versatility and skills.
