This has been talked about before, PR is not to fond of Cotto as they believe he should fight for free there like Tito did and give the public all his time like Tito. He is unfairly compared to Tito who was a social person without strong family ties, which freed up more of his time and money in comparison to Miguel.

Its kind of hard to feel anything for a cold aloof guy who speaks of himself in third person.

I can barely even notice when someone speaks of themselves in third person. I think you're trying a little to hard for something to dislike about Miguel on that one...not sure what the big deal is at all.

Also, we can see what big wrestling fans Puerto Ricans are, and we know how many of them like to talk of themselves in the third person, so we know that's not it.

In his prime. Hector Macho Camacho would have boxed Pac's ears off .
    Pac is extremely overrated.

Look Rik, CST80 doesn't like it when people call CST80's motives into question, CST80 finds it appallingly obnoxious when anyone speaks of themselves in 3rd person, and CST80 would also like to point out that professional wrestlers do it because they want to come across and pompous and full of themselves, or at least that's how CST80 sees it. CST80 doesn't have to look very hard to find something to dislike about Miguel Cotto, because CST80 is an ******* who lets little things like that annoy the urine out of CST80.

I'm from there but i don't think this is real. In PR the soccer is not very popular. And not seing lebron James, who is very popular there, maybe searched for the year because of the world cup and the death of th ultimate warrior, but popular don't think so.

The results had Pacquiao taking a LAND SLIDE of the vote. The other names sounds random because they were cast by fans of niche sports - wrestling, soccer, basketball.

Pretty amazing the global love that an icon like pacquiao garners.

I think the interesting thing is that Paquiao didn't have a big year, been that he had already beaten Bradley and Algeri was a no name fighter to the casuals, while Cotto had the greater win.
