Haven't read it all yet but I'll say this...I re-watched a lot of his career not to long ago, and given his place of birth, how he had to grow up, and how he rose from it all to be where he is today...YES, the Man can fight. He is a very exciting crowd-pleasing fighter. He works hard. And has done some amazing things.
He is not perfect in or outside of the ring...which everyone should be able to relate to.

Pac has been an overachiever. He has beaten several good fighters, especially Barrera and Hatton at his best weight. You could also mention the second Marquez fight and the Margarito fight.

However, he was defeated by Singsurat (?), old Morales, Marquez (who was robbed) and Bradley. So, Pac is hardly a boxing god. He's just an entertaining overachiever.

Whitaker is a boxing god. Robinson, Leonard, etc. are boxing gods. Pacquiao is not.
