    You assumed correct.

Its just *******s trying to bait people with their weird distorted reality where Pac will counter Floyds straight right with his jab

  2. What is distorted?

These are compubox numbers for the power punches of their last 8 fights.

    Deal with it.

    Punch stats are absolutely useless.

  5. Those 411 power punches landed on Margarito, makes Tony disagreed.

1.3% is nothing to write home about. I've taken shits bigger and more valuable than this number. Relying on compubox isn't any more accurate than Lampley telling us Floyd is the most accurate puncher in recent memory.

To say Pac's percentage would go up if he chose to attack with pot shots is a terrible logic. Pac cannot and will not ever fight this way. He thinks and attacks in a very different way from Mayweather. Even if you are trolling, it's god awful.

There is nothing particularly difficult about Pac's style of fighting. He darts in and out, relying on his speed and power. He can be countered by a skillful counter puncher and Floyd is one of the best at it.

The op has done his math based on the percentage of the percentages.

This does not take into account the amount of actual punches thrown and the discrepancies involved in that.

For instance Pacs power punch percentage in the Mosley fight is 50%. But that does not take into account the amount more thrown by Pac compared to mosley and the fact that he actually only landed 31% of his total punches compared to the 44% landed by Floyd against Mosley.

This is a trend that occurs in all the stats, but distorts the fact that when you look at actual punches landed, the percentages are always far more in favor of Mayweathers accuracy

  8. 1.3% ain't huge, that why a called it an edge.

But I also made this thread, because there is a false view that Mayweather is some kind of sharp shooter who doesn't miss and Pacquiao is just a wild swinger who gets lucky every now and again.

    Pacquiao accuracy is very underrated.

What the stats really say is in 9 fights Mayweather has a 42% connect rate

In 7 fights Pac has a 38% rate

Also a more important statistic, Mayweathers opponents only have a 17% connect rate on him

Whereas Pacs opponents have a 27% connect rate on him

  11. Pacquiao does not use the jab as a scoring punch as Mayweather does, he uses it to blind, feint, open the guard, and to set up his combos.

The punch is doing it's job and most of the time the job is not even landing.

Mayweather has a higher punch connect rate than Pac

That is the facts, deal with it

  15. Pacquiao has a higher power punch connect rate than Mayweather, including against 4/5 common opponents.

    Deal with it:bbb
