    8-weight titleholder would suit him better. There is a difference between the champion and a titleholder.

    Well OFFICIALLY Manny Pacquiao is the only boxer in history to win 8 titles in 8 divisions.

    It's already on his resume and also ''THE FIGHTER OF THE DECADE''.
    Unfortunately for the Mayweather fan boys or Pac haters, That cannot be changed and just enjoy your talk here in ESB. :deal

    Well, well behind the likes of Wilfredo Gomez and Marco Antonio Barrera and probably even Israel Vazquez as well. Pac at 122 on his own is much closer to Nishioka than the top 3 ATG of the division.

    Probably already been mentioned but he won the Ring magazine/lineal title at 126 lbs and 140 lbs.

    Barrera and Hatton were both number 1 at their weight class also so if anything those titles that you didn't count are more legit.

    oh so they count barerra as a title fight eventhough no title was sanctioned. and if barrera gave up his belt he is no longer lineal. same goes for hatton. you become lineal by winning the title and defending it like hagler and sweet pea did. they established lineage then defended it pac cant lay claim to being an 8 weight champion because barerra and hatton didnt have titles at the time.
