    >Duran
Smaller man 3 months after 1st fight, clearly wanted Duran to not show up his best and have a fat camp
    >Hearns
    great win
    >Hagler
Not top 25 wtf. Also only beat smaller men or nobodies + controversial and hagler was faded from mugabi fight
    >Benitez
Didnt train for fight and was just partying. Leonard has like 5 memorable wins. 2 against smaller guys

I'd rather watch pac get put into a coma by jmm in the ko of the decade. Or watch him not stop from getting hit with the same right hand by jmm over the course of 4 fights. Or watch him fold like a bad hand against a bum in torrecampo or go down like a cheap hoe against singsurat or get clowned by a faded erik Morales or watch him fet bullied and beat up in a cherrypick gone wrong against horn. You know I have 8 loses I can watch of pac getting beat and have a laugh. You can't do that with srl a top 12 atg who's light years ahead of pac in greatness and skill.

SRL and Pacquiao are clearly not on the same level as SRL is far superior to Pacquiao.

Excuses! Srl beat and lost to Duran fair and square no one said anything about Durans training camp in their first fight. You like to make excuses and not give credit. Duran and pac fan's have alot in common both love to make excuses when their fighter doesn't deliver, yet when the win it was the greatest win ever. It doesn't work like that.

Pac doesn't have wins on that level and no mab won't cut it.

Of course they're not look at who they beat lost to and skill level. Anyone with an ounce of credibility can see this.

He's not as great as his fans make him out to be. He's an atg but he's not a top 10 atg and he's definitely not the GOAT. How you gonna be the GOAT when your best win is mab? That's ridiculous. Great fighter but damn the overeating has to stop. You'd think he beat everyone he fought and retired undefeated or something.

But prime Pacquiao would still convincingly beat him. A stylistcally tougher fight than Keith Thurman ≠ stylistically tough fight for prime Pacquiao.

You listed Ugas and Bradley as fighters that Pacquiao are vulnerable too. If didn't refer to a peak Pacquiao then i cant argue, because Ugas did beat an ancient inactive Pacquiao, but if you did mean peak Pacquiao then yeah its a dumb post.

    And Pacquiao/Bradley 1 was a robbery

It was really surprising to me how little coverage and fanfare he received on his retirement. Barely see any mention of him anymore.

    Odd.

Fair enough. I'm a big fan of Pacquiao but I do think you are right that he's not top 10 atg or the GOAT.

Though having defeats to a fighter's name isn't that damaging to one's legacy, in my opinion. After all, some of the greatest fighters in history (greater than most if not all modern fighters) have been defeated, with some even losing to lower class fighters. SRR for example, one of the GOATs or even the p4p GOAT lost to Memo Ayón but that loss hasn't diminished his legacy in the slightest.

His name is still being mentioned in boxing, though its mostly about current Asian fighters and who can potentially be the "next Manny Pacquiao". Currently Inoue is being called the next Pacquaio, while other fighters like Magsayo are aspiring to be like him.

It may seem like his name isn't being mentioned anymore if you don't follow the lower weight classes and/or boxers from Asia.
