    agreed.

when his punch rate was up, look who he was fighting, walking punch bags. when he fought boxers he couldnt throw so freely.

bradley remember is a very good fighter, look what pacman did to him. boxing fans are the harshest imo!

Why aren't people taking into consideration the styles of the fighters? You know, that stationary opponents like Clottey and Marg will always allow you to throw more punches than retreating, defensive opponents like JMM, Mosley and Bradley.

And why is nobody mentioning the fact that the punches thrown in the Bradley fight (750), mirror the punches thrown in the Cotto fight (780)? You know, the same Cotto fight that most claim is the best they've ever seen of Pac?

Pacman is throwing more against Mosley/Bradley than he was against Marquez in his first 2 fights with him:

    Pacquiao vs. Marquez 1 (May 8, 2004)

    Pacquiao's total punches landed/thrown: 148/639 for 23 percent

    Marquez's total punches landed/thrown: 158/547 for 29 percent

    Pacquiao's total power punches landed/thrown: 100/231

    Marquez's total power punches landed/thrown: 122/339

    Pacquiao vs. Marquez 2 (Mar. 15, 2008)

    Pacquiao's total punches landed/thrown: 157/619 for 25 percent.

    Marquez's total punches landed/thrown: 172/511 for 34 percent.

    Pacquiao's total jabs landed/thrown: 43/314

    Marquez's total jabs landed/thrown: 42/201

    Pacquiao's total power punches landed/thrown: 114/305

    Marquez's total power punches landed/thrown: 130/310

Well no ****, but the punch stats aint the proof. What do you expect when the opponent doesn't engage and rides the bicycle.

Well it is required for a great boxer to know how to cut off the boxing ring to put himself in better position to land punches.

No he's not. He has used up most of his cherry picking options. Mosley, Marquez & Bradley > Hatton, Cotto, Clottey & Margarito. Much > than.

That and Pacquiao missed a lot of punches on Saturday. We all know what that can do to a fighters stamina.

Clottey and Margarito were sitting ducks for Pacquiao. Mosley was 40 years old. Bradley and Marquez present different style and hence Pacquaio was unable to dominate and his punch out put has dropped.

Also getting a little punchy as well.
Then again, he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
