Pac was still not yet his prime when he lost to Morales. Why do they say Morales was already past his peak? Is is because of his wars with Barrera? So why don't they say Pac was past his peak after his fights with Morales (3), Barrera (2), Marquez (2)? Or Cotto with his loss to Margarito?
Listen u muppet, Pac is noway top 15 of all time. And to those of you who even dare to have him in the top 10 of all time are smoking some good ****.:rasta
That is ******ed and impossible. The quality of fighters Manny has beaten are nowhere near as good as the ones Duran and Leonard beat.
He has alot of fighting to do before he is mentioned in the same sentence as them....they fought far stiffer competition, reigned as champions at their best weights for years before moving up, and even won titles in fights they were supposed to lose. These guys are top ten all-time greats. Manny just breaks the top 50. Even if he beats Cotto he still wouldnt be top 20.....think of what greats arent top 20 with better resumes and stiffer competition....here is my top 20 all-time greats 1)Henry Armstrong 2)Sugar Ray Robinson 3)Willie Pep 4)Harry Greb 5)Roberto Duran 6)Muhammad Ali 7)Benny Leonard 8)Sugar Ray Leonard 9)Marvin Hagler 10)Pernell Whitaker 11) Ezzard Charles 12)Sandy Saddler 13)Sam Langford:yep 14)Joe Louis 15)Archie Moore 16)Jim Wilde:smoke 17)Kid Gavilan 18)Rocky Marciano 19)Barney Ross 20)Julio Cesar Chavez
Well - P.H. Burridge (i thinkit was) on the ESB News page believes that a Pac win makes him top 3 of all time.
Pac-Man hasnt been in wars with the ferocity and punches landed like they have. He dominated Barrera, and Morales in the last two fights, and plus the kid is only 30 for GOD'S Sake...These guys had been fighting in wars since the mid-to late 90's. Cotto isnt past prime, I watched his last two fights he looks fine and showed heart in the Clottey fight.
