McGrain, I always respect your opinion on this site but where do you have Pacquiao now and where will you put him if he beats Cotto? I don'y have my list on the computer I'm on just now but i've got him about 33rd just now and if he convincingly beats Cotto I'd push him up to the 30 mark. Another win over Mayweather (providing he beats JMM) would make me put him somehwere around the 20-22 mark. Does that sond ridiculous to you?

Right now PAc is a top 40-45 ATG beating Cotto won't put him in the top 15.

Beating Cotto and getting a 7th divisional title (to go along with 4 lineal ones) would probably get Pac into the top 30-35. It would cement his status as the best of the 2000s, with Mayweather right behind him.

Jimmy Wilde is the one who always gets me. Everyone else above him I agree is ahead of Pac (other than maybe Hagler, who is a bit of a toss up), but I see Wilde on a lot of top 20 lists, and I'm hard pressed to think how Wilde's resume is at all better than Pacquiao's.

Cement, sure, but considering who each of them has actually beaten to get to where they are, Pacquiao is already significantly ahead of Pacquiao, unless you're counting the JMM fights as losses.

That sounds OK to me in fact, depending on how the rest of your list looks...maybe even a little conservative if he gets Mayweather.

I think Pacquiao ahead of Wilde is reasonable.

Who cares who is more impressive, Shane fought Cotto at 147.
