Pound For Pound is about resume AND activity. No active boxer has a greater resume than Pacquiao. That's just a fact. Here's Pacquiao's last ten opponents:

Jessie Vargas (coming off of almost KOing Bradley and destruction of Sadam Ali, schooled and KD'd him)
    Timothy Bradley III (schooled Timmy)
Floyd Mayweather Jr. (Floid was roided to the gills)
    Chris Algieri
    Timothy Bradley II
    Brandon Rios (Brandon used diuretics)
Juan Manuel Marquez IV (Juan was roided to the gills)
Timothy Bradley I (robbery of the century)
Juan Manuel Marquez III (Juan roided to the gills)
Shane Mosley (knocked Mosley down and had him running; Shane went on to stand toe to toe with Canelo for 12 rounds)

No welterweight had a better 2016 than Pacquiao:

    Pacquiao (Bradley and Vargas)
Thurman (Shawn Porter; almost got KO'd by a shot Collazo in 2015)
    Garcia (Guerrero and Vargas)
    Porter (lost to Thurman)

Now let's take a look at the previous opponents of other ranked Pound For Pound fighters:

Kovalev (looked bad against Chilemba, but beat Ward; however, a close win over Ward isn't greater than dominant performances over Bradley and Vargas; should be Pound 4 Pound #2)

Ward (beat Brand and Sullivan, lost to Kovalev)

Gonzalez (beat Arroyo and arguably lost to Cuadras)

Golovkin (should be Pound 4 Pound #2 or #3 for his streak of KOs and win over a cruiserweight Jacobs)

Crawford (beat the man that stopped Matthysse; a great win over Postol despite very little action)

Lomachenko (I love me some Lomachenko, but Martinez sucks and Tatakhun, Rodriguez, and Koisicha are nobodies; Walters was an excellent victory, though... the win over Gary Russell Jr. has turned out to be good, not great, as Gary hasn't had a revitalizing statement win over um, anyone, since losing)

Garcia (Zlaticanin was a good win, but Z had no signature victories and was 2 divisions smaller on fight night; Martinez, Rojas, Burgos... All B- level opponents)

Thurman (beat Danny Garcia, who was beat by old ass Herrera and B- level Lamont PEDerson)

Pound For Pound rankings should be about resume AND recent wins. Ability/Ceiling (Lomachenko, Garcia) should absolutely be part of the formula, but it shouldn't be the driving force. We KNOW Lomachenko is the truth. We KNOW that Garcia is the truth. But if we really look at them, neither has fought an A-level talent (though this is not their fault).

Am I the only one that don't like p4p lists? I might like fantasy matches between 1 weight class but I don't know how to compare Chocolito to Wlad...

If you factor so much weight of the argument into career accomplishment, then Roy Jones Jr. might make the list.

    It's March 26, 2017. Time goes on.

Pac probably belongs in the top 10 but I have a hard time ignoring that Timothy Bradley is his only high quality win going back all the way to 2011.

I'm not mad at calling Pacquiao #1 right now. I wouldn't be mad at Golovkin either. These lists are kind of silly though and I don't really care that much about them.
